Koreana Japanese Restaurant

Sushi is always wonderful here. I moved up to AK a few years ago, and I still think that Koreana offers better tasting sushi at a better price than most places up there! Everytime I come back I make sure to stop in and grab at least one ocean Sunday roll. Only downfall is service is usually pretty slow, but as long as you're not in a rush it's not that bad.

I love this place because of the food. There is no where else in the area that you can go to get sushi. The prices are very similar to other places that serves sushi. However, if you come as a large party be prepared to wait for some time for your food even if the place is empty. Waited for 40+ minutes after ordering. Even though we all ordered rolls, they were not delivered at the same time. If two or more of the same roll are ordered they came out on the same plate. Made it inconvenient since those who ordered were sitting on opposite sides of the table. Also be prepared to pay with cash or check since their credit card machine broke. Recheck your ticket before signing, we had a very large receipt and were over charged by a $13 roll. This place is nice for sushi, but they are unprepared, untrained and understaffed to serve large parties.

Food is amazing, the service is pretty great, I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys sushi or anyone who wants to try it. They also have hot dishes which are good and an amazing salad.

Great hole in the wall sushi at a reasonable price. The deep fried rolls are huge and delicious. And the white dragon is always great.

This place has great food especially sushi! Large portions and great service make it even better!
