Kor-B-Q Korean Grill

The food is not bad as usual, but I have been there several times, they recently cancelled the happy hour. They close at 9 but last call for food is 8pm??? What is the 1 hour for??? The female manager is so mean, put us in the corner table, difficult to ask for help. The way she looks at you makes you never wants to go to this restaurant ever again. We arrived at 7:46, told us the kitchen close at 8, so we need to make sure we order food for 3 people. Even if we can finish, she told me she will charge for the extras. If you changed your business hour, why don’t you change your business hour at google? The happy hour sign is also still in the front of the restaurant . The most unpleasant restaurant I have ever experienced. The waitress in our time is nice though. Makes me wonder how can she be a manager. Would not recommend if you want to have a good time with your friends.

VERY SLOW SERVICE but OUTSTANDING FOOD. had to wait 30 minutes between first and second round for order. The pork was tender and fresh, and the mussels were still alive. Very, very yummy and high quality but the service is what did it for us. Washrooms were out of stock and inspection log was 3 weeks behind.

Nice place but I give 3 stars to food and service since I found it slow and the seafoods are not fresh anymore. Some of our orders were late while others were not served. I had to remind the servers about our orders and I had to call them from time to time to ask for table napkins, sauce or water. I've been to several bbq restaurants local and international but only in Kor-B-Q I found the tong so tiring. LOL. Can you get a better one please, my hands are tired!

The lettuce was still soaked from water it washed with. The other set of lettuce was not washed at all. The lady who served us was rude and sarcastic. I can say she is a racist. Waited for 1 hour before food is served arrived at 6 pm, order arrive at 7 pm , which you have to cook. After an hour is the last order call. Many orders did not come to our table.Worst service, worst experience to pay that much 148.50 for 3 people.

If you like Korean BBQ this place is highly recommended. The food is very well marinated and delicious. You cook the meat and veggies right on the bbq in your table. A great experience. Nicole was a very nice server. The place is very busy so make sure you make reservations in advance.

Happy hour price increase again, Sunday night Meal price + one drink + HST +15% tips= $60 and that base on you grill everything by yourself. Our order for the BEEF TONGUE and Pork belly can taste the obvious SOUR and BITTER, the waitress told us because the kitchen use lemon to seasoning the meat??? w**, never will come again, please let everyone avoid this restaurant, unless your stomach is a garbage can.

We got here and we were a bit late to be able to not rush the eat all you can deal but we still did it and rapid fire orders after orders. It was understandable that some of our orders didnt came to our table but its just weird because you have to write your order in a paper and hand it to them. So where did the paper go. It was the only problem we encountered and they were able to bring most so we just let it be. The waitress who is from Vietnam was so kind and fast with our orders. Although she missed a bit the speed she tried to get everything out was really amusing. She is also very friendly and nice. Its a great food experience and always try bulgogi in your kbqq experience. Although their kimchi is such a let down. Not the else most of the meat are really tasty.

I usually do not write a review, but I have to write it. I can tell this restaurant is NOT a real Korean restaurant. I bought pork bone soup, which is $19.54. The portion is really small, the meat in the soup is not fresh, which has really bad smell. I had to throw out this. And they said this soup is supposed to provide with rice, but the rice ran out today. So, they could’t provide the rice. Then why you charge full price? I do not understand at all. If you want to buy real pork bone soup, go to other real Korean restaurants . You can buy high quality of real pork bone soup with rice under $15, I can guarantee!

Overall exceptional! The venue has good indoor seating with good spacing. Typically there are 4 to a BBQ burner. The interior is well kept as well! The all you can eat is a smidge pricey $29.99 on normal dinner hours, however there aren't many all you can eat Korean BBQs in Halifax so that has to be taken into account. The meat on offer is various and service is quick! The meat is a pretty good quality and the cuts are nice and thin on the beef and pork so it cooks quickly and those with marinated have good flavor. Of course cooking is upto the diner so keep that in mind. Additionally if the grill gets to burnt don't forget to ask for a replacement! The icecream selection is also excellent! Black sesame all the way. If you do want to order multiple scoops per person we found out a good way to write it is to just write the individual scoops and circle the scoops to indicate it is for 1 person. The local it is in is generally busy though so if you can walk there I would recommend it as the parking lot tends to be packed and generally it's unpleasant. More so than the regular sea of parking that we are use to. I highly recommend for those who like Korean BBQ.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Korean BBQ restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food. The only downside to the experience was the price, which was a bit steep, and the service, which was a bit slow. Overall, however, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to treat themselves to a delicious and authentic Korean BBQ experience.
