I've never seen apartments built over a grocery store before. Nice! We fell in love with the amazing deserts and the Sap Sucker drinks. Also, I thought that they have a wonderful recycling system outside of the store. Great job! I will recommend. Thanks.
Visiting Nelson for a retreat and needed breakfast fixins. If you usually shop at your natural foods grocery, you will find a lovely store full of as local as possible foods. excellent variety, really good quality, and when I said I was a tourist I received a complimentary guest pass for my stay.nnBreakfast this morning was great. I want to try this lion's mane mushroom crumble, so I added that to diced onion, yellow bell pepper, diced brown mushrooms, halve grape tomatoes, and diced asparagus spears. I beat some eggs, poured them on top, set heat to low, covered with a lid, and then sprinkled shredded goat cheddar on top. Delicious! breakfast handled.
Great grocery store. You can pay $10 for a month's membership to get the discounts which is probably worth it if you're going to be buying much while visiting Nelson. Regular membership is $50.
it is not that it is pricey. Pricey goes with the atmosphere. New Age stuff all over the place. Like a temple to their new bamboozled local religion. Tom Cruise would feel right at home here. Grocery stuff seems fresh. Bakery stuff not so much. I had some cheese bagels packed 'the other day' that were almost too old too eat. Change the label and put them back on the shelves it looked like to me. Because they are too pricey they do not sell. Even in a small city where most of the income comes from the Federal govt. As simple as that.nnI have also bought some chips. Great presentation but then I had great problems munching and swallowing them. No salt. a faint BBQ or whatever taste. I felt like chewing on tasteless corn.
Such yummy food!!! Highly recommend their boccaccini salad the best I've ever ever had great selection on so many varieties!
