Kool Beans Coffee and Roasterie

Very cute and busy coffee shop. The latte is ordered had a great flavor profile but it was really a cappuccino....to much foam. My friend ordered an espresso shot... slightly bitter but ok! But the in house mugs and the atmosphere made up for everything. Would go here again!nnUpdate:March 2nd 2026 - Very happily returned with my hubby enjoyed 2 PERFECT lattes, correct foam and temp. He was impressed and surprised we had never been there before. Starting to really love this place

I love all of the teas and variants of chai at Kool Beans!nnThe bagels are also quite good. The pastries and such are great! However, I do not enjoy the avocado toast. I was expecting mashed or sliced avocado, but I suspect it was preserved/bagged avocado. That’s totally fine though, since avocados go bad so quickly. THE BREAD ITSELF WAS GREAT THOUGH!nnThe service is always great, and I enjoy going there to study and hang out with friends!

I love this place! I come here all the time to do school work and the food and environment is always outstanding. The baristas are always so nice and willing to give you honest opinions on drinks and food items. The vibe is calm and rustic feeling, very welcoming and positive. I would argue that this is one of the best coffe shops in South Dakota!

This is THEE spot to study and meet a friend for delicious coffee. I walked into this beautiful venue, and almost all the tables were filled with people working and socializing. How epic is that?nnThe baristas were so kind and attentive and really listened to all their customers. I ordered one of their features- the raspberry brown sugar latte and WOOOOW - that was incredible. Delicious balance of sweet and tartness.nnThey also have merchandise, like crewnecks and tumblers, and coffee beans for sale, I myself picked up some MN Vikings stickers.

I’ve come in here just about every morning the last few weeks. Great coffee, quick service, and an amazing atmosphere. It’s become my go-to to start the day.
