Such a lovely place when I entered the restaurant. The server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She did a great job presenting the menu. I ordered egg salad , presentations was pretty good and taste was so good and fresh . Looking forward to coming back again soon.
We liked what we had a Kook’s Cooks the last time that we were here, so when we came this morning for breakfast, we ordered exactly the same things again Too bad the fried chicken with our Waffles and Chicken dish didn’t turn out well as the first time, but everything else was good. I especially like the flavours of the Bulgogi beef with a hint of sweetness in the dumplings and the Benedict
Went for breakfast on family day. Restaurant was very busy they told us to be about a 20 to 30 minute wait ended up only being 15 minutes before our buzzer went off. Small cozy location very friendly staff and excellent food would return. Only down side is limited parking
Fantastic Korean flavour spin on menu items. Loved every moment of being in this peaceful place. We ordered 6 different items, I sampled from everyone's dish and it was all nothing short of phenomenal. Thank you!
We went Saturday at around 8:45am to avoid the line and was seated outside in the patio. Small place but very cozy! Our party of three tried the bulgogi eggs benedict and kimchi burrito. The Benedict was probably my favourite I have ever eaten—the bulgogi meat paired so well with the egg, spinach, hollandaise sauce and soft English muffin! Potatoes were nicely prepared and portions were huge, so the slightly higher price point $18-20 was worth it. The kimchi burrito was also fantastic; it was loaded with egg, kimchi, meat, and jalapeños. Overall would highly recommend if you are in the area. Staff was so friendly and attentive throughout!
Such a lovely welcome when I entered the restaurant. The server was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She did a great job presenting the menu. The Eggs Benedict was very flavourful. Perfect for anyone who loves Beef Teriyaki. The coffee was fresh and hot. Great place to go if you need to catch up on work alone. Looking forward to coming back again soon.
We had the chicken and waffles and the bulgogi pizza. The waffle was soft and a lil sweet and the fruit was fresh. The chicken was very crispy as well. Our favourite was the pizza. The thin crust really is something and goes well with how the pizza is cooked. The topping was generous and the pizza is what makes me want to come back to try more of the items on the menu.
Honestly really upset that they either lied to me on the phone or didn't know their menu items well enough. I called today to ask if the chicken and waffles was made with breast white meat or thigh dark meat. She said the fried chicken is made with chicken breast. I ordered for take out. Got home and the chicken is dark meat. I asked because I hate dark meat. It is fatty and tastes completely different than white meat. So I didn't like the chicken and waffles at all. Which is why I called and asked in the first place.... if your going the make fried chicken with thigh it has dark meat and fat which is fine, but don't tell people it's chicken breast. Waist of time and money! Sadly disappointed!
New spot we wanted to try for brunch on Sunday. It's a small space but tidy and clean with dividers separating tables. Service was quick and everyone was friendly. Place was busy. We had the kimchi bennie. Pancakes, French Toast, Chicken and Waffles and Bulgogi Wrap. Food was good. French toast could have used more cinnamon, chicken a bit more seasoning but than again, we're trying to cut back on salt. Overall, we enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Definitely a place we'll go back too. And we drove all the way from East Vancouver. Oh place is only open till 4pm. No dinner. Bummer because we wanted to try out their suicide pasta and pizza. That'll be another review when we hit the place for lunch.
I like this place! Pizzas are good, spicy pasta was very spicy but if you ask them to make it less spicy, they will do it. It is clean and organized. Staffs are very friendly. They have kids menu too so your kids will enjoy too! There is more parking at the back! *Must try* place!
