Excellent service, they quickly were able to resize my antique platinum wedding ring, and it is shining brightly! They spent time making sure the size was exactly what I wanted and offered advice on my concerns. Reasonably priced service, and good sense of humor. You can tell, they are real professionals, and a local fixture.

We were visiting our family in Nelson and wanted to buy our 16year old granddaughter something special. We had bought her older sister a beautiful necklace at Komels a few years back for her 16th birthday so that is where we headed. Monday and they were closed. But Chris saw us and came to the door. Opened everything up, uncovered racks and let us pick a necklace. He then took time to adjust the length, boxed it beautifully and said that she had 10 years to get it engraved free. Awesome jewelry shop locally owned. My mom got a ring for Christmas that was too small and the owner was able to size it up for her really quickly and polished it up beautifully for her. He has some stunning custom work available in his shop and an overall great selection of jewelry!
I called ahead to see if they were open on a statutory holiday and while they were not open, the owner offered to change my watch battery anyways. He was friendly and together we were able to figure out how to get my watch open serious design flaw. It was fun to workshop it together to get the job done. He was helpful, kind and accommodating when he had no reason to be on his day off. Thanks so much! Highly recommend this place.
