This park is a fun escape from the standard Wisconsin scenery, no matter the season. Explore rolling sand dunes on winding cordwalks. Note that while the wooden planks make hiking easier, there are often slippery, steep and buried segments that less mobile folks may find challenging.
Great place to enjoy nature, camp and check out Lake Michigan. The water has been high this year do the beach is tiny, but 0nce ot goes down again you can enjoy a wider beach than we did. Love the nature trails and especially the boardwalk wood surfaces!!
Amazing even in the winter to explore; our kids love coming here no matter the season!
Gorgeous. I was astonished with how lovely the views were of Lake Michigan from the hiking trail. The sand dunes were really pretty and made for a fun walk with family. We hiked for over an hour and ended our visit with a dip in the water and relaxed on the beach. I loved our visit so much that I returned the following Saturday!
Beautiful dunes covered in wild flowers. Hiking was top notch! Beach was pretty but covered in bugs. Couldn’t lie out they were so bad. Bug spray didn’t help.
One of my favorite parks in Wisconsin. If you want to feel like you are by the ocean and want to have a great experience with nature, sand dunes and beautiful scenery, this park has it!
