Very nice! It's hard to find a nice, clean, sandy beach in Wisconsin but here is one of the few! Lake Michigan cold but also clean. Loved our day here. There are changing areas and trash cans, volleyball, and grassy areas as well.
Really nice lakeside park with amenities for every age and walk of life. There's also a historic shipwreck reassembled near the parking lot entrance.
30+ years ago I lived here, coming back today was a major trip down memory lane! Love the addition of the Schooner
Very nice area. Didn't visit the beach, but it looked nice, will be back. We did walk out to the lighthouse. Be careful. Water does come over edges.
Beautiful park and beach! Very clean. With this covid Bologna going on,a nice place to go and spend the day! Was neat to see the marina and walk through the shipwreck!
It was cold but beautiful, surreal and comforting. And a really nice walk !!
A prime example of what a public park should be. Beach was spacious and clean. Shower/changing facilities were also in good shape. The only negative is the on street parking can be a bit limited, but not terrible. Also be careful I was almost hit by a car while crossing in the crosswalk. Certainly nothing against the park, just FYI.
