Spend some time here last year, so lucky to hear Ray Chen, a world class violinist playing famous violin sonatas. Also love him playing Bach's chaconne, Clair de Lune, Czardas, Chinois tambourine... literally every piece he plays. Probably a must-visit for classical music lovers in Toronto.
Enjoyed watching Tafelmusik at this incredible venue. Truly the city's best concert hall. The acoustics are sublime, and the sight lines are perfect. Cannot wait to visit again :
The outside of the building and the interior architecture are beautiful. However, the sound acousticsin the concert hall is deplorable. The seats are small and uncomfortable and it all feels like a bad plane ride in cheap coach. All glitz but no substance. An offense to real music lovers.
Nice and clean venue with great atmosphere. But as with these places, enjoyment will depend a lot on the show that's being performed.
A lovely multi purpose hall. Like a smaller version of the Four Seasons. Not a bad seat in the house.
Beautiful hall. Here are some pics from idea city which os held there every year.
Beautiful acoustics in the Concert Hall. Comfortable seats let you relax and dream. Being attached or part of the Royal Conservatory of Music does, of course lead one to have high expectations for a concert hall with wonderful acoustics. No disappointment here and the ceiling is beautiful to look at as well
