Kobe Japanese Bistro

Ordered Skip the dishes from this place! All the food went above my expectations, and all the food was great! I got the Volcano Roll, the Crunchy Tuna Roll, Tempura, Dynamite Roll and Rainbow Roll. My personal favourite was the Volcano Roll, it was so flavourful and had a lot of unique textures! Would definitely come back or order skip from this place again.

This is our first time coming back to Kobe after COVID. We ordered four rolls: Deluxe Kobe, eel roll, sunset roll, and scorpion roll. I would say all four rolls are fairly bland. The deep fried eel roll is soggy and when I bit into it, all I taste is the avocado. Overall, it is just an okay experience, definately not as good as last time we went. I don't think I would go back, I don't think it is worth it anymore.

Great food. Great service. The passion of the chefs makes it all the better. I've been coming here for a few years and not once has the quality dipped; if anything, it's improved. Food is fresh and full of flavour. On top of all that, Kobe provides an unusual and unique take on the typical offerings of a Japanese restaurant. Takeout containers are well designed and keep food at its optimal state. Service staff are fantastic; incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive! 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend!

Having been here for a long time. Their lunch menu is pretty simple. Prices are reasonable and the best part is the unlimited create your own soup and salad. Any one item on the list includes the soup and salad. The fish is very fresh and portions are not bad. Great place for lunch. Will definitely go more often now.

I visit Kobe at least twice a month. Kobe is my boyfriend and I's go to date night spot. The food is fresh and the service is always friendly. Our favourite is the beef tataki, the sauce is out of this world! We also enjoy their other dishes such as their variety of tempura, Alaskan Roll, Spicy Tuna, Miso Soup, and have tried at least 5 of their many house special rolls. When we leave too our appetites are very satisfied. Never had a bad reaction there to the food. Nor a bad experience. Can't wait to go back already!

I was going to rate a 3 but the food was delicious so ended up with a 4. Maybe it was just the day, it was really cold inside the restaurant. 80% of customers were wearing their jackets while having meals. There was a long wait time for each plate to come. The waitress was really nice and offered some soup.

They said our take out food would take 45 minutes so we showed up at the time they said and paid just to wait another 45 minutes without being told that our food was no where near done. They did nothing to make it up to us

Ordered takeout, not bad, will come back again. Give 4 star because we didn’t like everything we ordered and there wasn’t enough soy sauce and wasabi there for us

Food is always amazing and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. A cozy little restuarant tucked away in Callingwood. We love coming here for our sushi cravings !

First time to try them out. I can say the service and first impressions were excellent but nothing more to rave about. A couple of our ordered items were incorrect or missing but I felt the sushi was over-bloated with rice, my dragon roll left no impression and made me think of every other place that did it better. The décor is boring, blank dark walls nothing to look at. I wish I could be satisfied with only the service of the staff.
