Kiwanis Dairy Bar

Stumbled upon this place during our walk along the boardwalk. Got a chocolate dipped vanilla soft serve cone and the seasonal blueberry sundae. Thoroughly enjoyed their ice cream. It's creamy and the blueberries from the blueberry sundae tasted plump and sweet. The chocolate from the dipped cone left a kind of plastic coating/sensation in my mouth similar to that of cheap chocolate so I probably wouldn't get my cone dipped again but I would definitely return just to eat their ice cream or ice cream sundae again. Service was good and friendly. Just a tip: they don't take debit or credit. It's all cash only. Beautiful views with benches around to enjoy your food. Prices are fair.

Amazing location along the water. Order and enjoy your food on a bench by the ocean. As far the actual food, make sure you ask for salt because the fries and the burger seemed unsalted. Overall, location is top tier. Food is fairly middling compared to other options.

Several years back I vowed to ever eat here again, however I was down at the park and I tempted fate once more. Well let me say I am so happy I did. Honestly what a great group of young people they have working here currently. I've grabbed a quick bite here several time this summer, and every time I've been so impressed with how polite and friendly the young staff member are. The food is pretty standard and if I'm being honest it's nothing amazing, but the staff and service are absolutely 5 star!

Horrible experience with older lady who served us. We have been here frequently to buy ice cream and have had no problems until now. We paid good money for our waffle cones only to have this lady on two occasions to half fill our cones. When we mentioned this to the lady she became very angry and abusive and argued with us. So much for good customer service! The ice cream itself is very good but since our last two visits here were extremely negative, we are now going to "What's The Scoop" where the ice cream is just as good as this place but the service and value for your money are far, far better.

Absolutely love the ice cream and the take out from here! It can be pretty busy some days but it's worth the wait!

Chill, laid back old fashioned dairy bar. Great views, takes cash and debit, with generous seating area.

Pretty good as dairy bars go though didn't like the soft serve vanilla dipped in chocolate. It didn't have much flavour and for what it did, it had an artificial tint. Go for the real ice cream instead.

Always have a pleasant experience here. The girls are so friendly. But this year I found the portion is smaller, which is understandable with what's going on. Keep up the good work, girls!

Lovely location to grab some good food and relax by the water. Fantastic staff, they make my day everytime I go!
