As a Vancouver west local, I find the Kitsilano Farmers Market is a must-visit every week. I appreciate fresh, organic produce here. Their wide selection of organic vegetables is impressive. It’s a fantastic spot for health-conscious foodies and anyone looking to support local farmers. Highly recommend for a refreshing and delightful shopping experience
Nice quant market. Really good veggie selection and baked goods.nI find the best time is RIGHT when it opens or like two hours after. Anytime between that you have some ravenous folks that are on a mission to get stuff pushing by you etc and really takes away from the whole community farmers market vibe.
It was better in the summer, but when I went today December 22, the options were very limited. Extremely overpriced products—I’m not sure if they’re worth it. Tiny bags of brussel sprouts were $6.
This is by far my favourite of the Vancouver Farmer's Market locations. There's alright street parking nearby, but it's also pretty close to transit. Stalls are well spaced and always a good variety of stuff! I get all my veggies for the week here, plus a couple treats
My favourite market in all of Vancouver. I love the atmosphere, real people, real farmers, real food, real community. Food is expensive now, but you can find really amazing produce for good prices here. Nothing goes to waste. I love the tips and ideas you can puck up from the farmers and the customers. Best garlic, herbs, root vegetables, everything! And then there is Stapleton sausages, amazing.nMost of the same farmers will be at Riley park winter market, but Kitsilano is just special.
