Very nice museum. The curator and assistants have done a great job. It provides good coverage of Kitsap County. There is an amazing collection of puppets and related content. Worth the time.

If a group can call in advance they may have a docent to do a tour.
The stories of Kitsap County are told through living history displays. There is a recreated small town that is very well done. This brings so much more life to the history stories. There is also a small puppet museum upstairs. A must stop in downtown Bremerton.
This place is fantastic. My friend and I spend well over 2 hours looking at things. We had great, deep discussions and I for sure would recommend this to any history buff. So much great information.

Their scavernger hunts are so much fun! Love their puppet museum too!
Great museum, didn't explore the puppet part only the historical. There is a pre-recorded option that you can do on your cellphone so it's best to have some Bluetooth headphones with your phone.
It felt like we traveled back in time. We loved it!
