Kirk Park

Wonderful county park. Great place to do some light hiking. Good combination of stairs with overlooks as well as dirt wooded trails. Beautiful in the fall, great beaches and swimming in the summer. Also, best dog park in the area.

Love bringing my pet here. Nice little beach with lots of friendly dogs. Has stairs that lead down to the beach from the trail so it's easy to make sure the dogs don't wander back to the trail.

Had a blast here with our dogs. Beautiful beach area and clear water. My shepherd and dachshund loved it!

Amazing place, friendly crowd and great vibes from the majestic lake superior. There is a small 200 yard walk from the parking lot to the beach. There are enough pick up bags placed on the ends of the beach. The water is crystal clear, view is gorgeous with dunes on the shore line. Dogs love this place and the off leash area isn't littered. My only problem was the bathroom weren't cleaned and the showers weren't working.

A nice beach but Very hilly and too small. The beach also has a lot of wash up and not enough smooth sand to sit on. However, the scenery is still beautiful.
