I am not one for Ramen however I was surprised how delicious and tasty these are! Very comforting food and ideal during the cold months of winter. Table sitting is adequate however the chairs are not padded so not the most comfortable and cozy, the portions size are filling and will not disappoint.
Okay... I completely forgot to take pictures of the food, sorry about that haha. Here is the beer I got instead. Came as a party of 2 and ordered the takoyaki, pork gyoza side fishes. Got the thick noodle spicy pork garlic and a thick noodle spicy beef ramen with a 16oz Sapporo draft beer and a lemonade. Both ramen were fantastic, if you are more into spicy food, get the pork garlic ramen. I personally like beef ramen more so I enjoyed it alot more, it was noticeably less on the spicy levels compared to the pork ramen. The beef had more flavour to the broth. I don't know if it's because I ate the pork ramen first or not haha. But my bias is beef ramen is the best. Would come again, maybe using a fork and try some karaage + sake. I might need to practice using with my chopsticks before coming back.nAh... Right I should just try thin noodles next time, it was too heavy for me to pick up with chopsticksnnReview 2:nCame back for spicy beef garlic ramen, thin noodles, karaage and yuzu sake. The karaage is amazing, the yuzu sake was extremely refreshing. And yes, finally the thin noodles I could use my chopsticks on. It was way too heavy for me when they were thick. I still messed up at first but the ramen was so delicious I got hungrier and hungrier and my brain just stopped thinking and I was just reacting... Chopsticks got alot easier to use after that. Opps I took video instead of picture... Guess I was hungry
The staff are not the friendliest. Lots of seating options and they put us in the corner right next to other large tables.nThe food was tasty and delicious as always .nWould think twice about this location.
My family and I decided to treat ourselves to a delightful bowl of ramen. Since the restaurant did not offer a meal for three, we took advantage of the available deals and ordered two different ramen dishes. I chose the delectable pork ramen, while my parents chose the beef ramen. Regrettably, the beef ramen turned out to be a bit too tough for their liking. On a positive note, the dumplings were exceptionally delicious.
We haven’t been to a kinton spot for a while and forgot how amazing it is! Original broth and spicy garlic are the tried and true favourites with some karaage on the side this was truly a simple yet perfect dinner! Service was great and very friendly. Only bad comment is the outside of the plaza itself, for some reason it smelled like a manure farm outside! Not sure if that’s normal or just when we went, very unpleasant before and after having great food. But don’t let that stop you from going here, just run to the car!
