Kinsmen Beach Park

It's a great family beach with a playground and washrooms, and if the tide is out there is lots of Sandy beach to explore as well. The busy boat launch is always fun to watch. This park got a fancy new look in 2017 and it shows. It's a hometown favorite.

Kin Beach is the perfect little place that has something for everyone. Located in the heart of Chemainus just down from Old Town the beach is conveniently located in walking distance from all main attractions in town. The Beach offers plenty of parking, boat launch, public washrooms, brand new playground and toy locker, benches, picnic tables and seasonal off leash dog park. In summer on low tide the beach has a huge sandy expanse and with how the bay is sheltered the water is extremely warm for the region. Something for everyone in any season, a wonderful park worth visiting.

A great little park for families with children . Swimming ,playground and beach . We spent a lot of time there when our grandchildren visited. They loved it

A park/beach for the whole family. A playground for the youngsters, at low tide, a nice beach for everyone, and a super concrete ramp for those wanting to launch a boat or kayak. I'm sure it can get crowded on weekends, but there's a fairly decent-sized parking lot too.
