King's Express Chinese Food

I don't know what the other reviews are talking about. Look. I'm not going to pretend that King's Express is the best Chinese food you'll ever eat or anything, but it's not nearly as bad as some of these reviews make it out to be. The woman who answers the phone isn't amazing at English, but she knows enough to take an order and is always very polite. I've actually had them call me back just to be safe if there was ever any confusion. The food is fine. It's nothing to write home about, but it's not inedible or anything. It's just pretty standard Chinese take out/delivery, in my opinion. There are other places in town if you wanted some elegant fine dining experience, but when I'm craving just some Chinese food at night, Kings Express has always been a solid option. I've been looking for a Go-To since moving to the city, and it looks like it's going to be Kings. Oh, plus the Delivery service is typically pretty good for me. It took an hour once, but I gather that was a bad night. The first time I ever called it was about 30 minutes, and in my experience that is very fast. Typically it averages out to 45 or so. It's not without it's flaws, but none of them are so glaring that they've prevented me from ordering again.

It took over three hours and two phone calls, before our food was delivered to our house. Which was medicare food to say at best. When their website says that they accept cash or credit upon delivery, what they really meant was cash only. I will be looking elsewhere, the next time I would like Chinese food and quiet night in

Whoever is writing these reviews about timely delivery must've ordered during the week. It's Sat night and we ordered 2 hours and 20 minutes ago and we've called the restaurant 3 times now with the same response, "it'll be there soon" and we can't cancel the order. Worst ordering experience ever.

Just ordered in tonight, worse food ever had. All went $50.00 in the garbage. Wanted to give it to the raccoons but Don said they wouldn't even eat it. Must be new owners, it was good years ago.

Stay away from this place. You place a delivery order and they don't show up.
