My wife and are are super happy to have a five star crab stop in our backyard. The food is so delicious. I don’t recall ever tasting a sauce quite as unique as the spicy Cajun. Buttery, kick of spice, perfect with all of the seafood options. Extremely friendly staff with a caring, hands on owner. Highly recommend!
Staff and owner are very friendly. Their boilings special sauce tastes so good!!!! Surprised by how affordable the menu is, their food is so good compared to other seafood boilings ive tried here in IL. Love it. Definitely worth it.
This place offered a delicious seafood boil, my group ordered the super Supreme boil and was more than enough for 4. All that was missing was scallops. I suggest getting the combination of all the three sauces which includes butter garlic, cajun and lemon pepper. Sauce did get a bit salty at times but there are side orders of rice, potatoes and bread to help.
I love a good boil spot and this place does it right! Greta selection of seafood and other options. Service was quick and they even give you some candy to go on your way.Food: 5/5
We did the boil that had everything with the mixed sauce. It was a good amount for 3-4 people or two really hungry people. Chowder is well made to start off with. You need to eat it fast as the butter will because a solid. This place is very quiet and only one TV is on which is showing westerns so if you want to bring your veteran friend or grandparents for a quiet meal then try this place. I love the chocolate covered mint at the end of the meal.
I had a great time. It was very peaceful and the waitress was very nice and gave us our space. The food was delicious as well and came out fast. I will definitely be coming back here again soon: thank you!
First time trying this restaurant. I ordered the crab legs and shrimp combo with a combination of all 3 sauces. I also added corn and potatoes. Only thing I would not order again would be the potatoes. It was not what I expected, they serve roasted potato wedges instead of boiled potatoes. But I enjoyed everything else!
Delicious seafood boil at a really good price point! Shared a combo along with a side of sausage and that was perfect for 2. Got the special sauce at medium heat, everything was cooked just right and so tasty!Food: 5/5
I sent a question via Yelp on Saturday and promptly received a quote - they were cheaper than 2 others I contacted. I wasn't in a hurry so I called Monday and was able to set up a time the following day for them to change my door lock and make me keys. They texted before they got here and arrived on time - was friendly, efficient, and very fast. I would happily recommend Ezequiel Locksmith And Security to anyone else unfortunate enough to need a locksmith!
We were looking for a Krazy Krab alternative and found King Krab online. We parked on the North side near the tracks. Watch your step when you walk in...those outside steps can be tricky/short. We came in between 430-500 on a Saturday. It was not busy. We found our way past the bar to the hostess stand. No one was manning it. I'm under 5 minutes a server appeared wearing a hoodie over their head which we thought was strange given the appearance of the restaurant interior. The interior is nicely decorated with paneling wall lights and very well lit LED chandeliers. This is offset by the resort or FL looking decor by the cashier station with two shark heads on the wall. Our table was clean. I've read the other reviews....not sticky. We ordered and our food came. We are a party of two, the two orders came one after the other. The 1/2 lb king crab namesake and shrimp pasta were cooked to perfection. I had the lb of shrimp dinner with potatoes and a small ear of corn. The butter garlic sauce was thick....nearly gravy and very tasty. I am not a spicy eater so the lowest level of spice was just fine for me. I would have preferred mashed potatoes to boiled given the thickness of the sauce but hey...my fork worked very well. The only suggestion I would make is check the auto air freshener in the men's restroom. Even if it's operational....it's not effective though the pine cones on the sink are still working quite well. Overall we had a great experience and will be back.
