First time trying this restaurant even though I live just around the corner from it. The food was absolutely delicious, although portion sizes are a bit small. Staff are friendly and service is good. Would come back again.
New favourite spot, brought my mom who was visiting from Ontario and amazing experience start to finish. Service is excellent, food is delicious and prices fair. Can’t wait to come back and try more things on the menu :
Best Indian food I've had so far in Canada! We were a group of 3 and ordered the tandoori chicken, coconut curry and another curry forgot its name, as well as the mango lassi drink and the kheer rice pudding dessert. Added two orders of basmati rice and one order of naan. The basmati rice actually came in a sizable portion, I'd say one order would be enough for two people. The main dishes were all so flavourful! The coconut curry is something I don't usually see at Indian restaurants in Toronto so I'm glad I tried it, and it turned out to be a great choice for the coconut lover. I also really enjoyed the kheer dessert, for it was very refreshing. All of this for just over $30 per person with tax and tips included, which I think is a great value. On top of the food, the waitress was quite nice, and offered us a candle for the dinner. The restaurant itself is not large but tastefully decorated with very nice furnishings and wall paintings and a great location!. I found that it had a good balance between casual dining and fine dining. The only complaint I'd have is that the washroom was strangely cold...there was a noticeable temperature different when going in and coming out of the washroom. Otherwise it's a great dining experience and I'm glad I chose it for my one night in Vancouver on the way back to Toronto! Vegetarian options: I saw plenty of vegetarian dishes available on the menu.
Wow Great atmosphere, good vibes and the food was truly amazing! Best Indian food I ever had, the nan bread was out of this world but everything was so good. You can taste the quality and appreciate the fine culinary art! Congratulations and we are sure to come back often!
Fabulous food. Have tried 4 to 5 times. Mutton Thali is a must. Have tried almost all the dishes. Authentic Indian food. Fabulous quality. Quick and warm service. Loved it.
My co-workers and I ordered from Kinara via Uber Eats today. We were all very impressed by the quality and portions of the food. I ordered the Mango Chicken Curry and it was delicious. I appreciate the fact that it had a generous amount of chicken. The naan was delicious as well. I also ordered the Gobi 65 which was tasty. I could have easily eaten that all on my own. My co-workers ordered Shahi Paneer and the Butter Chicken Lunch Special, really good deal for under $15. You get butter chicken, pakora, chana masala, rice and naan. I Highly recommend this restaurant.
Kinara Indian Cuisine is fantastic! The waitress, "Ray' was very welcoming to me and the food tasted like it was cooked with love! I had SAMOSA, CRISPY PAKORA, ONION BHAJIYA and the FISH PAKORA not in picture. All equally delicious. The samosa filling is plentiful and the pastry is thin, crispy and delicious. I highly recommend this warm neighbourhood eatery!
My favourite Indian place in Vancouver so far. I ordered online here a few times and went inside for dine in as well. Everything I ordered was always delicious, the portions are very good and the pricing as well. My personal to-die-for favourite is the Paneer Makhani. Veggie version of butter chicken and I absolutely love it. You should go there and try it!! Vegetarian options: A good amount of veggie and vegan dished to choose from.
Amazing service by Kiran I hope I am spelling her name right. Delicious food! Ambiance is great as well. Highly recommend. We will be back soon.
