Kesari is one of the best Indian restaurants I've ever visited. The food was amazing, the curries had depth of flavour that you couldn't stop eating even when already full. The biryani was great as well with lots of herbs and spices. Service was great and helpful in providing suggestions on popular dishes and drinks.
It was my first time to have the real fine Indian food, and it was amazing! I loved the chicken, lamb, fish and the chick pea so much! The mango drink was nice too! The location is great, space is clean and comfortable, the service is awesome! I will definitely come back again and recommend it to my friends~
We tried kesari kitchen after many months of crossing it during our evening walks since its a recent installation. We finally decided to go to try it out at a whim and were unexpectedly blown away by some of the signature preparations. The Delhi style butter chicken is a true representation of the dish. It’s rich, flavorful and extremely appetizing, and comes very close to the taste one experiences back home in India. Their breads and the appetizers were just as amazing. We specifically enjoyed the indo-chinese style manchurian and even went back for it. In addition to the food, the service and the ambience are very pleasant and inviting. Kudos to Mr.Sumit who runs this place in that true quintessential Delhi style hospitality fashion and has his chefs always in high spirits! We’re now regulars!!
Papdi Chaat and Dal Turka at Kessei in the West End The chaat was delicious with a nice balance of yogurt, tamarind, mint sauce and crisp papdi. Dal Turka is basically my favourite evolution of lentils. Impressive depth of flavour and was even better with the garlic butter naan I had with it.
A really tasty take away dinner. We chose the Butter chicken I'm boring - Delicious sauce, chicken slightly tough but fine; the chicken chowmein - delicious, the butter naan - Delicious and and the cauliflower 65 - Unreal! Would recommend the food here, very tasty and decent portions
Holly naan bread! The food here is incredible. Every dish we had was perfect. Service was good and the atmosphere was lovely. Added to my list of best restaurants I’ve been to.
I had chilli prawnsmedium hot and butter lambmild with garlic Naan and rice. Garlic Naan is one of the best Naan I had in a long time. Chilli prawns were good. Butter lamb was blend and tasted like tomato sauce. I'll definitely try something with more spice the next time. Service was amazing and the ambient was good. So overall, it was a good experience.
Delish!! And good portion sizes. Only thing I would say is the butter chicken is a bit too sweet for me and I like it on the sweet side. Dips for the pakoras are good too. This will be my new go to Indian place! Can't wait to try more dishes
It’s a new Indian restaurant in downtown and it’s beautiful and serves very delicious food. I went their for pickup and definitely going back for dine in. I tried two new dishes and both were amazing: 1. Pudhina Paneer Tikka: flavourful and comes with an amazing chutni 2. Kesari Palak Kofta: never had such a delicious palak gravy Being an Indian I can vouch for their authentic taste. Must visit place in downtown. P.s. I got the chance to talk to the owner and he is very polite and friendly guy.
Overall yummy food, however vegetarian food could be better. The veggie curries are just too sweet. Chaat is not that great. Delhi butter chicken and garlic butter naan are brilliant! Good dine in experience.
