Kim House Japanese Bistro

Great food, fresh made to order, cheap. And usually quiet. I would bring a date there. Waitresses are awesome. Little Vietnamese ladies... variety of pretty much all Asian food possible.

Kim House is our go-to dinner spot before school or an evening of work. They're extremely friendly and very quickly know exactly your order and will take great care of you. Just for the friendly face and warm reception I have to recommend Kim House, the food is a bonus!

The sushi here is very westernized. By westernized standard, this is decent, but if you compare it to authentic sushi, this isn't all that great. The atmosphere is a bit strange, but service is solid. Price is competitive and value is good for this area. Do I crave for this? No.

Love this bizarre little place. MIDI music as often as not. Busy decor, as many actual marketing materials as hand-drawn posters. Still, I try to go once a week. Good food at a good price, and tons of options. My preferred downtown sushi haunt. Illustrious.

Don’t blink or you’ll miss it. This restaurant is easy to miss if it weren’t for the sandwich board that I almost trip over on the sidewalk. I love coming here for lunch or dinner. The selection is huge serving both Japanese and Vietnamese cuisine. The price is very reasonable. Almost everything is under $15 and the service is fast. I can order and pick up my order within 15 minutes. Seating is no problem and you are always greeted at the door immediately. Décor is like any Japanese restaurant but they post a lot of food pictures on the wall with prices and explanation which is very helpful when choosing your dishes. This is one of my favourite spots and I’ve taken a number of friends and colleagues here. I get my money’s worth and the service is fantastic.
