We had an excellent experience researching a company vehicle in November 2021... we knew what we wanted which was in limited inventory and the team worked with us so we could determine the best purchase option. After the purchase we had a trip planned where we coordinated winter tires, company decals and some accessories to winterize the vehicle and prepare for our work needs. This included coordinating the vehicle to another company to install the decals. All of this was coordinated by Juliana, the Assistant Service Manager. She continues to check in with appointment reminders such as prompting us early for the winter tire installation. As we are from out of town our availability can be challenging and last minutes and Juliana always finds a way to accommodate us, even while on her days off which we remind her to stop working and enjoy the day. Absolutely exceptional, above and beyond service from Juliana.
Recently bought a 2023 Kia Seltos from this location. The salesman Mark Jones came out to see me almost immediately. He very friendly and helpful, he suggested I take the car for a test drive … which I did and immediately fell in love. I would highly recommend thinking about buying a Kia and especially from Mark !!! Awesome guy and fantastic service. He made buying my first new car so simple and enjoyable. My experience with Kia West Edmonton was fantastic! Buying a new vehicle when you have just moved to a new country can be exciting but also nerve-racking. Kathleen was such a gem of a person and absolutely fantastic to deal with. She has been very patient and helped us understand a lot better with her expertise in the field of finance. She helped us get a good deal on the finance to lower our payments. Got our first car here in Canada! I would highly recommend this location to others and also do look for Kathleen to take care on your financial needs while buying a car at Kia West Edmonton.
Pathetic customer service. Mr. Will staff providing services after judging customers. I went there on my appointment time and had a look on the vehicle I want to buy. And an another gentleman customer came by and immediately Will started giving his service to that customer and I was standing aside for 45 minutes to get served. According to the way Will speaks he thinks I cannot afford car or just got in to have a look on cars not to buy. KEEP AWAY FROM THIS STORE.
Simon was wonderful, honest and candid. Nothing but stars for Simon! Brandon was forthcoming, honest and a straight shooter. At first. Then things shifted. The terms Brandon and I agreed to in his Office with two other employees present were very different than those that were in the paperwork through financing. Felt lied to, but proceeded based on down payment and plans for payment in full. Also, Edgar in Finance shared and discussed details about my purchase with my husband without me present. Hubs isn’t on the purchase. Didn’t sit comfortably with me. Edgar also told me that hubs agreed to aforementioned terms. In fact, he had not. Felt lied to. Moved on to Jim for pick up. Felt rushed, dismissed and irrelevant. He sped through the settings and features of my Telluride without allowing for questions or discussion. Looked at hubs and asked if he was tracking because I was overwhelmed hint to Jim, perhaps? Nope Jim continued on without a breath. Granted it was late in the day, but felt disregarded. Overall, certain attributes of our purchase went well. Others, not so much. Perks?The tank was full and plans for a new windshield were taken care of before driving off. Drips? Inconsistencies and discrepancies that were slid in, not applying deposit to purchase. They did refund that once we brought it to their attention. Oversight? Maybe. Maybe not. Wasn’t a great experience, wasn’t the worst. Eyes open, stick to your guns and watch for diversions and you’ll be okay.
I drove from Ontario and ended up getting an oil change done. They did it very quickly and also washed my vehicle that was filled with bugs from the long drive. They would have seen my Ontario plates and realized I was a one-time customer but treated me like I would be a regular. Outstanding service, thank you very much! Highly recommend, great employees!
Very limited stock. Salesman was more than a bit pushy. They add a protection package to all cars on site that costs $3000, that was definitely not something we would have chosen if given that option. We went elsewhere, they offered to let us take a car for a test drive in an effort to keep us at that dealership but they just did not have the options we wanted and we're not willing to match the budget we wanted despite numerous times saying what our range was. If I say x amount is the limit, do not come back with anything higher than that or you're wasting all of our time. I get car manufacturers are having issues with stock but they seem to forget, that is not my problem. That's their problem. So all the comments about that are irrelevant because I don't care. I want to know about the features of the vehicles and what you have available and if you don't have what I want, I will look elsewhere. Fortunately consumers have multiple options for dealerships even though they all seem to be under one brand. Go Auto We got our vehicle at a different dealership who worked a lot harder to match the budget we asked for.
We recently bought a 2021 Kia Rio. We had to order it and wait for it to arrive. It arrived in stellar condition. The financing portion was an absolute breeze; all we had to do was sign the paperwork and drive away! Kathleen in the Finance department was completely AMAZING and was able to arrange everything from the protection pack to the warranty, and even arranged for the winter tires to be installed. Buying a car is stressful enough - but Kathleen knew so we’ll what she was doing, and even had some suggestions for our financing options that were a real help! I very highly recommend!!!
worst experience! we were interested in buying a new SUV, we had to give a deposit before the test drive. my husband paid the $1000 deposit with his credit card, once we were back at the dealership, we decided we were interested in purchasing the vehicle we sat to go over the details and before signing the paperwork, once the FULL price was given to us, we realized it was not within our budget, we told them immediately that we would not be able to go through with the purchase, we were told that the accountant had left for the day and that we would have to come back at another time to get the $1000 deposit back, my husband works out of town, so he said on his next days off he would be back for the deposit, that takes us today, today the manager informed my husband that the $1000 deposit is non-refundable..... we will never shop here again and hope this is a warning to anyone else.... beware these guys are thieves!!!
My fiance and i went in November 2021 and decided to order a 2022 kia carnival that we had liked the look of so we decided to make a deal with them and were helped by Melvin. We agreed to a price and deal with winter tires and rims and free lifetime oil changes, as well as a price of 4000 for our trade-in. We were told it would take 3-6 months So come April I message Melvin to say we are wondering if it is coming soon 6 months later and he tells me he no longer works there so to call the manager. I do that and they say they have no idea when it'll come. Now mid July we are finally told it's here and come to look at it and go over financing. When we arrive they start making a whole new deal. No lifetime oil changes but they'll give us 3 years of it, 2000 for the trade in half as much and we're told we didn't agree on winter tires and rims we did. I ask the manager the next day why that is and he tells me that it wasn't in the original contract but there is no person working there anymore that we dealt with both no longer working there and the lifetime oil changes they "didn't do anymore as per owner". He also says we are paying more because it's a 2023, we didn't ask or order that! But he says well that's what it is. Don't ever go here. Look up dealer rater reviews online and you will see they do this all the time. Absolutely the worst service I've ever had with a dealership. Go get a Toyota from West Edmonton Toyota instead. You'll thank me.
