I give this establishment a 2 star review because I went in with a coupon for a mega box of popcorn chicken and fries for $4 and they gave me a medium fries and a 12 piece popcorn chicken in a mega box and said this was theyre mega size. Either there was miscommunication or they were skimping on the popcorn chicken but Im less then pleased to have paid so much for my meal to get 12 pieces of chicken. Quite outrageous.
Order a bucket of chicken and had only thighs and legs. Chicken looked like it was double cooked. I tried calling and no one answers the phone there. Won’t be back!! Good luck staying in business, it won’t last long. Read the reviews they’re all like this. Don’t waste money here.
Loser place can't even open doors before noon........coupons expire morning of the specified date.....not at the end of the business day like any real business...... debit machines would not work at noon so 5 vehicles in the drive thru were not able to get food after church ........if I could give 1/4 star that would still be too much!
The best spot to meet up with friends and family, with excellent food and service and easy parking. We purchased 32 pieces of the extremely delicious and well-prepared chicken fries. Special mention should go to a member of staff there by the name of Srinath, who was incredibly cordial and friendly. Thankyou Kfc steinbach
I am editing/updating my review due to the horrible experience we and many other customers had this evening. We ordered a chicken sandwich with no sauce, it came with sauce. We were told 7 minutes for the new one, 15 minutes went by THEN were told that there was no lettuce or pickles left so the burger was now plain. Absolutely no effort was made to compensate for the mess up, we should have at least been given our money back for the sandwich meal, but no, nothing. There was old cutlery and napkins on the floor and food remnants still on the tables. The women's washroom said it was closed but we watched as numerous employees entered and used that washroom. Every customer that was served tonight waited a minimum of 30 minutes for their meals. Even the people coming from the drive-thru were filing in and having their orders corrected. This store needs to be closed and/or managed by someone else who doesn't only hire family members. It's not following the KFC chain's standard/code of practice.
The Colonel is apparently breeding miniature chickens. I should have taken a picture of the bucket. It was half full because the pieces were incredibly small. This had happened before as well but the kids wanted fried chicken. Never again. $50 for nothing. Have had issues with being shorted gravy, waitibg long periods of time. No compensation for mistakes, being given too much dark and not enough white in the mix. It just goes on. I wont be going back anytime soon as there is an actual Canadian competitor in town now who has huge, flavourful chicken.
Quality has gone downhill. Everyone I know misses the old gravy and fries recipe. Really too bad. They also take a long time to bring out food. They don't seem very prepared.
Very disappointing, cold over cooked fries, the big crunch is now the size of a jr chicken sandwich and they couldn't be bothered to fill the drinks to the top.
One of the worst food experiences I've had in a while, unfortunately. We had ordered 2 large fries One included in a combo bucket, the other an extra. We went home to eat, only to find out they forgot one. We called them to let them know, and they responded with "Well, we put 2 fries in there". Uh.. no, you didn't. The person we talked to was rude, and didn't listen to us at all. Very frustrating.
Normally I quite like KFC, today's 6 piece chicken meal was exceptionally bad. Chicken was severely overcooked, desiccated rock hard and overall very unpleasant. There was also something off with the coleslaw but on upside the fries were fine. I can't believe I paid $30 bucks for this non edible chicken meal. I am actually quite shocked that they would serve something like this. Sadly I will have to give Steinbach KFC a wide birth in the future.
