See a lot of reviews here that criticize the staff for issues that are definitely management/owner controlled. Yes KFC is gross no doubt. Salads are filled by weight and like Starbucks and their 3/4 full coffees, many times the coleslaw will settle but still have the required weight per container. The staff here is wonderful. Last evening Tim gave us his usually friendly efficient service as did his coworker sorry unable to remember her name. She has been here forever and is wonderful with customers!! Tim was at the cash before the front door opened unlike some of the newer west end businesses yes Wendy's I'm looking at you . So even though they're chicken is smaller and not as good, again a manager/owner issue, this staff takes customer service seriously. Enjoy your day my friend
Well, this location is back to its old tricks of short-filling salads again. So this was not a staff problem after all ... It is a management decision and it's totally unacceptable. Worse, the 10 piece bucket contained tiny, dried out, cold pieces of chicken that have obviously been sitting for most of the day if not overnight. Unfortunately the Picton KFC is now producing inedible food. We do not wish to return. We had already given them a second chance after the last instance of them short filling the salads and putting too many tiny pieces of chicken in a bucket. Guess they will try to do whatever they can get away with ... But it won't be with us.
Like the majority of Canadians over the years KFC was the go to fried chicken place, however after the last 3 visits, for us it will not be anymore. Recently we purchased just under $100.00 worth of chicken only to get home and be disgusted by the presentation. The pieces of chicken were so small that the buckets were only half full. We actually counted to ensure we had received the right amount and were stunned to realised it was correct. We found several small bones - choking hazards - throughout our chicken where pieces like thighs had been cut in half so they can be counted as two pieces. This is a ridiculous decision that has obviously been made as a money maker for KFC and a rip off to the customer -- shame on you. At least the service was fast and friendly hence the one star.
Very poor customer service! Mainly an older lady in particular, who is notorious for having a really bad attitude, and doesn't seem to understand the concept of coupons. Not the best way to keep customers, or maintain a proper business. My family and I will be making the trip out to Trenton for our next KFC purchase, as Picton's is on a steady ride downhill!!
Decent place, good staff. Interiors are a bit dated though, get the 70s feel. But its clean and you get the same kfc burgers, can't complain when you're hungry and driving by.
They always seem to have an attitude. Some lady tried to tell me they don’t do coupons but i’ve used them before. yesterday went in, older lady was VERY rude and had attitude. The guy wasn’t wearing gloves, and i found that disgusting.
Sat here and stood for 5-10 minutes waiting for someone to take my order, I had one employee stare at me the entire time, and then the other walk completely pass me and go to the bathrooms. I never EVER enjoy my time coming in here when I do.
VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!!, the old cashier is a very rude person And RACIST! just like her work team, she does not know how to treat the client and the worst thing is that we were tourists! child abuse, I do not recommend it, they should have a qualified team for customer service . For Me -5
The old lady at the counter she was super rude by greeting us with a frown and a YES? she asked us if we wanted to have the order to go and we said no dine in we were a family of 9 she said "DAMN" I said excuse me ? She said I just cleaned I dont want to clean again...we said its ok we will not make your tables dirty when the second old lady inside said we are out of dark meat you need to wait 20 minutes We are from an arabic back ground and we never felt this disrespected and unwelcomed !
