A friendly place for a home style meal with good portions. Kettles has been a favourite stop of ours as it’s often close enough in many road trips. The menu is extensive but most importantly they’re a very family friendly restaurant which is great! The kids menu includes Mac and cheese, grilled cheese, and chocolate chip pancakes and they already even have the ketchup on the table so it’s easy going! They also serve kids with a lid on the cup so no worries about spilling. As a parent you will also appreciate they are really great about coffee refills! Portions are very generous for the price - for the smaller appetites I suggest the smaller portion option available for most adult meals and they shave a couple bucks off. The butter tarts, cookies and pies available for takeaway at the front counter are quite good too!
Haven’t been in kettles in years. Decide to treat myself for breakfast. Went in, got pancakes with chocolate chip and then had carrot cake! Both are delicious! Servers and staffs were so friendly. Always will come back for sure. Highly recommended!
Lovely restaurant! Nice food, reasonable price, very friendly service! Too bad I was only passing by the place and not sure when I can go back, but the lasagna was absolutely delicious and it comes with garlic bread and caesar salad too! Will definitely like to try more if I get to come back
Worth the drive. Tasty food served in a homey atmosphere. Couldnt resist their cheese cake, but i had to get it to go. The "Big Papa" burger is a whoppin 24oz on a fresh baked bun, they used to make it one giant patty but now its 4 6oz patties.
11/10 on the hospitality and friendliness. Food was well prepared and portion sizes good given the price. My whole group appreciated their meals. Definitely worth the stop over!
What a wonderful restaurant! It was busy which shows how popular it was but we didn’t wait long. We all enjoyed our orders and each serving was HUGE! My club sandwich was one of the best I’ve had. We also bought pies and desserts to take home which were amazing. Would certainly come back.
$20/pp. Portion is hugeexcept Lasagna. Kinda salty and can be really thirsty afterwards. Would still recommend to come since there’s not many competitors near the neighborhood.
This place reminded me of the kind of diner you’d see in a Hallmark Movie. It was so cozy and full of love. The food was like eating your favourite home cooked meals. I definitely recommend it!Recommended dishesChicken Wrap, Fries, Sandwich
A very popular local spot and draws a decent crowd! But there was no wait for my party of 5 when we arrived during lunch hour. Friendly staff, fast service and bottomless coffee. The coffee is listed as premium on the menu but its the average diner-fare coffee. They served hot apple cider which was delicious and much better quality than the coffee. The food is very generous and some dishes were a hit whereas others were ok. The onion rings and tater tots or jewels as they call them are perfectly friend and delicious. The reuben sandwich was very well made and one of the highlights of the menu. The mozzarella sticks were very salt and arrived at the table luke warm so the cheese was harder since it wasn't at the right temperature and hardened. The chicken BLT club could have been better in the plating and preparation. You get a generous chicken breast which is great but its very difficult to eat because the entire breast is sandwiched in a bun. It would have been great to have it butterflied and layered in rye like a club sandwich. The Ocktoberfest sausage breakfast comes with 1 large sausage but is on the salty side. I'd still recommend this place to come eat and its worth a visit. Especially its not a greasy spoon like other diners can be so you can enjoy your diner fare without feeling heavy afterwards.
Great place to stop on a roadtrip !! The environment is nice and the service is very pleasant. The Reuben was also Reuben rubbing me in all the right waysFood: 4/5
