Stopped here on my way through for lunch. Staff was very friendly, hometown seat yourself type restaurant. Waitresses were quick and friendly. Food was absolutely delicious, and came out hot. Coffee was good too. Bill was cheap and well worth it.
We were just driving around Bowling Green looking for a spot to eat and came upon this place. Wow, did we ever luck out. Very inexpensive, lots of food and great service.
Kermit’s is the restaurant every small city should have. The food is solid and consistently good. The atmosphere is friendly, and the service is always great. And then there’s the bean soup. Bean soup is best aged. Kermit’s bean soup reminds me of the pot of soup Mom would start in the morning and let cook until dinner that night,, then pop it in the fridge and pull it out the next day, warm it up and feed it to us for lunch. Kermit’s is that good. It’s no wonder this place is never empty. I highly recommend.
I've been going here for years and I enjoying coming with friends! It's truly a mom and pop style place. The atmosphere is cozy and the menu reflects that. I've never had a bad experience here with service or food! I think it's pretty fairly priced for the size portions as well. I would recommend! Kid-friendliness: Very friendly for kids to eat here, they have high chairs of needed as well. Parking: The parking can br a little tricky but if the lot next time the restaurant is full there is one behind it and the house Wheelchair accessibility: The front doors can be tricky but over all it is accessible. It is packed inside but I've seen people in wheel chairs who sit to the corner tables so that they are more comfortable and aisle aren't blocked
There is plenty of parking located behind the restaurant. I arrived after the lunch rush and the staff were still cleaning from a busy hour. The menu has basic sandwiches and salads. The service was very fast and served hot. Prices were very affordable.
If you're looking for a cute little greasy spoon diner look no further! Kermit's has a comfy ambiance geared toward the locals that have grown up stopping in for a hot breakfast and a friendly smile for years. Never eaten lunch here but prices are unbeatable! The tandoori breakfast sandwiches are awesome!Food: 5/5
Cute little place kind of tight. Naan bread was excellent what was in it was not great. Ordered a blt it was a lettuce and mayo sandwich with chuncks of tomatoes and 2 pieces of bacon.its a bit pricey for what you get. Saw a burger at another table that looked good. Maybe I just choose the wrong food.Food: 3/5
It's been years since I've been here. I remember the food used to be good, the service was average and the price was average. Now, the service is excellent. The food is poor and the prices are average.

Used to be the only place I have found that had creamed beef on toast... unfortunately it seems they no longer have it since menu has been streamlined. I miss the sos, but they did great on my omelette and coffee was just like old school diner coffee. There are not too many places like this left, swing in enjoy a family diner like it used to be.
