You can really taste the freshness and quality of ingredients. That alone deserves four stars. I got the green valley with no cheese or cream cheese and still really enjoyed it, the veggies and bread are that delicious. Definitely worth a visit, lots of vegetarian options and I'm sure a lot more exciting and flavorful things if you're not vegan! Staff is so friendly and helpful. They clearly take pride in their restaurant.  Dietary restrictions: If you&#39;re vegan, you&#39;ll want to avoid the veggie burger and the corn muffin that comes with the chili- but those are kind of to be expected. But you have at least a few options beyond that obviously take off cheese and sauce. -Different rules will apply for allergies - definitely check with the staff!

I'm giving this place 2 stars for the desserts alone! Yummy & worth coming here for.  But, this place is small & if it is anywhere near crowded,  avoid it or you could be waiting a LONG time for your sandwich.  Either they need more help or better organization. Sandwich was tasty but.....I was super hungry when it arrived. Should say hard to beat the price for quality.

I'll be honest, it had been a while. But man, they knocked it out of the park last night. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh. Prices are fair, portions good. Need to save room for dessert next time. Mistake on our part not getting some.Food: 5/5

First time eating here, can't say enough good about this place! I believe that was the best taco I've ever eaten! You get a crazy amount of food for a reasonable price. It's so hard to pick from their menu, so many things look so amazing! Our waitress was great as well! A+++

Super slow and unfriendly service. The food was mediocre. Not worth the cost. Salsa tastes like it is from a jar. Bread for the sandwich was dry and stale. Chicken salad seemed store bought. I also informed server several different times I was celiac and can't have gluten/wheat. Still brought me crackers with my soup

Cute little restaurant with friendly staff. I had a roast beef sandwich that was great! My son had a salad that looked really fresh and good.

I am in town for a couple of days, and as a HUGE Zane Grey fan, I had to try it. While I would have liked a bigger showing of Zane Grey memorabilia, I was definitely not disappointed.   The service was fast and friendly I was the only one there, so I felt a little odd, and the food was great. I loved the salsa and I have lived in Texas for more than five years, so I think I have a level of expertise.  I could see the pie case the whole time I was eating, and I couldn't resist trying some.  The sandwich I got was pretty big, though, so I got it to go.  Love it.  Very tasty.  If I get a chance to return to Bowling Green, I will definitely keep Call of the Canyon in mind.  Now excuse me while I re-read the book.

The food was delicious and arrived quickly. Service with a smile and good conversation. I like the places you just pop in and get treated like a regular, like a friend. I love the extensive dessert menu and great prices!!!

Great decor but food was sub par has a great staff and a great small place to grab lunch if your really hungry and don't care about the food quality
