Worst hospital ever. My dad caught mrsa at Kent and died. They try to push hospice on my dad, but I would never put anyone on hospice. The nurses kept on giving my dad morphine so he would die faster even after I told them not to. I was his power of attorney. The doctors and nurses also wouldn't give my dad a feeding tube. I wouldn't bring my dog to this hospital.

Having worked in healthcare for 40 years I can say with conviction that I have received the best of care from a highly competent and caring staff. We are blessed to have such a great hospital locally. Thanks to all the staff who make a difference every day! God bless you.

I had surgery here and they are so outdated and don't provide you with the proper medicine and amount of medicine to get you through more than 3 days after surgery!!! I now have to wait because it's the weekend til tomorrow when they open or try to get in the car and drive to the hospital for now meds. I had stomach surgery!!!

I wish I could give no stars. Kent Hospital is awful. My elderly mom was there last week because she collapsed at home. Once we were seen I think 9 people asked her/me the same questions over and over again, very frustrating. They drew blood, did a cat scan and said that they couldn't find anything wrong with her, that maybe it was the heat. You don't stop breathing because of the heat. So the next day I am to take her home it took three hours to get her released. I asked for a wheelchair three times and got brushed off. I finally asked another nurse about getting a wheelchair and she looked at me and said your probably better off getting it yourself. Oh I see how it is I guess you have to fen for yourself at that hospital. So I head downstairs to get a wheelchair and run into a nurse going on the elevator with one and asked if that was for my mom and she said why yes it is, so I told her great I'll bring my car up to the door and wait for you to bring her down the nurse said ok. I waited 20 mins. By this time I had, had it. I went in the elevator and back up to my mother's room and there was the wheelchair sitting up against the wall outside her room and my mom still waiting, with no nurses around at all. I got my mother in the wheelchair myself, wheeled her to the car got her into the car myself and drove home. On the way I got a call from the nurses station outside her room claiming I left flip flops in the room. They didn't ask about her at all. They should all be ashamed of themselves. That place isn't fit to tend to animals never mind humans. NEVER AGAIN.

This is a great hospital from the ER to the ICU. Beyond that the hospital leaves a lot to be desired. I would certainly let them save my life, but not very much after that. Better to transfer somewhere else for followup hospitalization. One day after I was released from intensive care I had enough. The room I was in was terrible. Noisy and full of distractions. I thought hospitals were supposed to be quiet. Also, it became questionable that the personell were being managed efficiently. Long periods of waiting in a noisy room! Reminds me of a government facility.
