Susan Mol-Lending Department, has been nothing but helpful! I've now gotten 3 loans from her, 2 personal and 1 auto. She is incredibly responsive and even had my auto loan approved and processed in just a day! I love banking with Intandem because of people like Susan. I will 100% be going to her when the time comes for me to buy a house.
Keeps telling me to re-authenficate my account. Won't even let me know my own balance. People are nice but that doesn't mean much when you can't see your own money... at a bank.
Been a customer for over a decade. They were so helpful with transition when my husband passed away. They contacted me when a lower rate was available for my home loan. I'm very satisfied with my experience.
I have worked with Susan Mol a few times over the last few years and she has always been so pleasant to work with.
Been customer for 7 years would not loan money to help me get out of debt . Not even a phone call back explaining why . Pretty sad considering my money is directly deposited into there institution. Was told on 7/27/2022 they would call me back with a explanation. Well it's 7/28 and no call . Also the loan officer was quite rude when called saying the would not help me . I would not recommend this credit union to friends or family and will be looking for different financial institution as they do not care enough to even pick up a phone to explain why they won't help me with a simple loan . Very sad . 8/5/2022 Just received a response from intandem . They did not respond to me she said Blakely to me the under writers denied me a 1500 dollar increase on my line of credit loan . No explanation . I called back and asked why I was denied I was told she would look into it and get back with me . This never happened!!!! The weekend 7/30/22 I received mail from the credit union it was my credit report that's it no explanation. A financial institution that you have a relationship with is supposed to treat you with respect and as a investment. This occured during the time when they were Kent county credit union. However the new board members seem to not care about there investment maybe because I'm not in the rite category of finance im on a fixed income poverty level . I feel that this institution discriminates against people who are in fixed incomes I have spoken with more than 3 other people they have done the same thing to . This 1500 dollars would have covered a high interest credit card paid it off increasing my credit score and solidifying my finances if there loan officer would have taken the time with me to go over this they would know this . They don't care about the little people making poverty wage who are disabled here Blakely said anything else I can help you with after just saying the underwriters denied my 1500 dollar increase . Even though I paid 2 other loans off with them . A mailed credit report with a denial no explanation no plan to move forward and help me then oh yes in a snide remark have a great day . . It's pitiful sad and down rite sickening. Stop responding to a bad review with a blaten lie . Now I remove the 2 star and give you 1 . If you would like to contact me explain to me why I was denied and go over a plan to help get me approved I will then and only then give you the increased credit YOU !! DESERVE!!!!!.
I can not say enough positive things about Intandem CU! I have banked here almost 7 years and will not go anywhere else. They helped me purchase my home, new car and set up savings! The staff is always so friendly when I visit.
Courtney at the plainfield branch is an angel sent from heaven above! So sweet and ACTUALLY helpful. I’ve been banking here for over a decade now and she always makes me feel like family. If any of Courtney’s bosses sees this she deserves all the raises, promotions, vacations, and good things!
They clearly do not want business. If they did, they would not act like the following. Stay away if you desire a responsive, customer service oriented financial institution. I am reviewing this on behalf of my roommate who has been a client of this institution for over 25 years, and her parents for over 35. She is closing her accounts and taking her business elsewhere. This began in the fall. She chose to apply for a credit card through them. She was approved with a rather nice credit line, which was to substantially increase in a few months. The card never showed up. After six weeks she began to call to inquire as to the status of such. She was advised to wait. Three months after being approved she was in the Credit Union on other business and again inquired about the Credit Card. After initially being brushed off she pushed a bit, and records were pulled up on the computer. Somehow there was no record of this approval or of a card being sent to her. Frustrating, but mistakes happen. Going through the process again, she was actually approved for a higher line. Then that one did my show up either. Cue a repeat of the above scenario. Calling once a week after six weeks. Being told to be patient, never receiving the card, for over three months. She simply canceled it this time, if there was anything to be canceled. In the latest transgression, she unfortunately suffered a car accident where her vehicle was totaled. No injuries, thank God. She chose to apply for an auto loan through them, as her insurance payout plus cash on hand, was a bit less than the car she wanted. She was told after calling on a Tuesday to come in for a meeting on a Friday. Going in she then spent only 15 minutes there filling out a form. Why this couldn't have been done on Tues, or Weds, or online even was mind-boggling. As there was no answer, up or down given that day she was there. Now, mind you, my friend has EXCELLENT credit, and relies on her vehicle for her primary income. Over the course of TWO WEEKS she STILL has not received final word on an amount approved for, let alone a check! She began to call after three business days. Has been consistently brushed off, told she would receive a call back, and NEVER has, and a couple of days ago even took the step of contacting a board member of the Credit Union whom she knows personally, to advise as to what's happening. THIS finally got a response, which was, "Well, we're hashing out numbers right now to make sure we get you the most money at the best rate," and was told she'd receive a call by the end of the day. There was no call. She called this morning to inquire yet again as to the status, and was told that the individual in charge of loans is not in. Don't forget, this woman's income relies on having a vehicle. It has now been three weeks since her 1st call. It's clear this Credit Union does not at all value it's clients. Stay away. She is now, as will be her parents, and this story will be shared with anyone foolish enough to do business with them .
Don't waste your time with discrimination from this establishment. That's putting it mildly. It's a requirement to be racist and judgmental. Give someone somewhere who cares about you a real chance.
I've been a customer at the Kent County Credit Union for about 25 years. They're always helpful, friendly, and fast.
