Prices are great compared to my area! Saved almost half price on our decking with delivery and all tools included! Karen at the desk is absolutely wonderful, she explained everything to a T! Delivery was on time and went smoothly. Definitely reccomend this location
I made an appointment last week for a kitchen consultation at Kent in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland. The appointment was for today, October 12, 2024, at 2:00pm I have my email confirmation/reminder attached.nnWe drove over an hour to get to this appointment, only to be told that their kitchen specialist does not even work on Saturdays! Apparently, they only work Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. However, when we were there last weekend, a lady who works there told us that they do take Saturday appointments, and so I then scanned the appointment QR code and proceeded to make the appointment for today.nnAnd the staff at that Kent location said there was nothing they could do. So, we just lost about 2.5 hours of our time, plus fuel, just to be turned away! This type of customer service is completely unacceptable!
Have been to kent in mount pearl 3 times over this week. The first time I went I purchased almost $2000.00 worth of lumber, I waited at the counter over 20 minutes before deciding to go to customer service and ask if there was anyone supposed to be at the project counter the girl said yes two workers are there , she paged them. 20 minutes later one guy shows up and I get served. The wood I bought was delivered Saturday and I signed for it. It was in my driveway for an hour before I had a chance to move it to the yard. Closer inspection I noticed nice wood on the outside but under there was worm holes, split up, waterlogged and everything else you can imagine. Today I went up to get some special bits I needed so I went to hardware and no one there, I waited about 20 minutes and finally someone came along to serve me. This evening I went back up to buy a circular saw ...Guess what no one there so I went to another counter to ask and he said yes there supposed to be someone there, then he said we'll I don't know what to tell you so I said fine and left the store went to canadian tire and bought a $200 skill saw. Never going there again.
I arrived for an appointment with an installation service representive today at the Kent Mount Pearl location who was a no show and not on site. First Impressions matter. We will not be dealing with Kent for our Kitchen renovation.
It was awesome, staff are excellent, especially in the seasonal department so helpful
