Ken's Cafe

Hands down best Chinese food in the area with excellent service. Four of us ordered a dish each and portions were generous with leftovers to take home. Spicy wings and fried wontons were my favourite, I will be coming back

It took an hour's drive with beautiful weather to visit Cloverdale at Surrey. It’s a lovely little town, we walked around and took pictures. My kid was starving for food, we went to a restaurant called Ken’s Cafe & Restaurant. The boss is very nice, warming greeting and is very friendly. We order a Dinner for one number 2 and a Cheese Duplex burger, the food is delicious with good taste and temperature. I recommend this restaurant to you and I will definitely come again.

We have been eating here for a decade! The management changed a year ago, but the quality of food remains great. We are vegetarian and they are always happy to tweak the dishes to accommodate us. Helpings are generous and the food is served steaming hot. Prices are mid range. We like to dine in.

LOVED IT! So hard to find good Chinese in this area. We took a chance and were very very pleased with our meals. So yummy, meat was trustworthy, flavors were delicious and portion sizes were HUGE!!!! Thank you so much for a wonderful dinner. We will be ordering again for sure! Price is also very competitive!

Great Canadian Chinese cuisine and very generous portion sizes. I'm not a small man and my wife is pregnant and yet we took more than half home. Staff was also very friendly and eager to please.

I ordered the spicy beef which was like wet beef noodles cooked in Walmart Szechuan sauce $17 for half a portion I feel like they should change the name and not ruin Kens of 30 years of delicious food. Frozen breaded precooked beef strips not unlike something you would find at your local 7-Eleven

They gave us a take out box whit a huge hole, they could not not have seen that. The rice is a day old, yes I can tell. We ordered spicy rice, it’s not spicy AT ALL. The price is really high. The only reason I tried this place is because I’m determined to find good Chinese food in the hood, and the reviews are positive, so I think I need to tell the truth here. I understand supporting local business all that, but com’on!

They have changed owners and unfortunately it is not the same flavours, prices and menu has drastically changed. Definitely not the same place or food at all. I miss the old menu, food, prices and owners. Maybe the new generation will like it but I am not a fan unfortunately. I wish the old owners could come back ! However I understand you can’t work forever. Our family hopes they are doing well and miss there awesome Chinese food! They have been there for as long as I can remember. More than 20 years of good food. I have not ever had a bad meal previously. They were very nice people who cook amazing food. Thank you for all your great food and I wish I still lived in Cloverdale, and the old owners could still be cooking amazing food.
