The worst chicken wings that I had, I order to deliver to home and when I started eating doesn't taste well, they didn't added the honey garlic sauce that I choose well. I cannot believe the ridiculous amount they added. You can see the pics and judge yourself, waste of money and time. I won't order never again. I don't recommend you this place at least no delivery because you won't complaint to get the properly order.
Don’t fix what’s not broken. Haven’t been to Kelsey’s in a while but upon my return their new menu blew me away. I was overwhelmed with tasty choices and chose the Patty Melt and Honey Garlic Buns and my wife ordered the Chicken Beet & Goat Cheese Salad. DON’T GET SOLD ON A PHOTO!! The lettuce in the salad looked past its best before date, the beets had no taste while the chicken tasted like 5-day old leftovers. The Patty Melt I’d ordered, which looked incredibly appetising in the menu photo, was little more that a hamburger patty on toast. The Honey Garlic Buns looked like they’d just come out of a bag purchased at the grocery store and also didn’t come close to resembling their menu photo. While the staff were wonderful as usual, the food was really disappointing. I almost NEVER leave these types of reviews but in times of rising costs of virtually everything, I felt I should pass this along. In the end, I should have curbed my enthusiasm about trying food I saw in photos.
The food was delicious, served in time by the waitress and service was good. I would definitely go back here again
Our first family dinner outing in 9 months and what a terrible time. It took over an hour for our food to arrive at our table, only to arrive cold and the kids fries were burnt! No one advised us the kitchen was backed up, only after flagging down a server 45 mins after ordering did we find out. Perhaps letting customers know prior to being seated that the kitchen is backed up, would have deffered our dining and taken our kids elsewhere to be fed in a timely manner. Servers are overworked and not able to tend to tables efficiently and were unable to check in. We ended up having to grab pizza on our way home. So dissapointed!
Pleasantly surprised. Good service from the waiter although food service was a bit slow. Nacho appetizer was mediocre. Double burger with bacon was really good as was the Nashville chicken sandwich. The salad was a disappointment. Mainly because it wasn’t made with California greens as noted but rather coarsely chopped romaine lettuce.
Unfortunately this will not be a good review. I ordered online for curbside pick up. I was forgotten about. I asked the waitress when I finally got my order if it was just sitting there the whole time, I was assured it was not. That was a lie. It was very cold food when I got home. Also the ribs we ordered looked like black tar. I called to get a refund and told the manager I could bring the food back no problem so he could inspect it himself. He assured me I didn't have to do that but that I had to wait 1.5 hours for a call back for a refund which I find crazy. This is unfortunate as I liked Kelsey's chain but don't think I would ever order take out again from here.
I ordered the shrimp Thai curry bowl with noodles. I was expecting spicy, but got sweet. It was still good. Not enough food at all. It doesn't come with anything, not even some sort of bread to dip in the sauce that's leftover in the bowl.
My father in law placed a telephone takeout order, was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. He arrives on time and was told his order would be a few more minutes until it was ready. 30 minutes go by and he asks for an update and he’s told his order is just going in the oven, he asked them why they said it would be ready at 6pm when it won’t be ready until almost 7pm now, as he could’ve waited at home for it. They told him the customers in the dining room are the priority over telephone takeout orders. Will not be ordering takeout from this Kelsey’s in the future if this is the attitude the staff have.
Went for lunch today. My grandsons 6 and 9 yes old waited out side the washroom for me. waitress told them to “ don’t stand here” The second one as I’m coming out of the washroom said “ out of the way kids”. Totally rude. Could have said something polite to not stand near the kitchen. I always give 20% tip but we will never come there again. We go every week after grocery shopping Not any more. Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all. Totally rude !
We attended the restaurant on December 2nd as a hockey team for a lunch. We were able to get a reservation to accommodate our large group 30+ people. Food was fantastic and the wait team was very pleasant and easy to deal with. Our only complaint was that the wait time both for drinks, food, orders to be taken, etc. was quite lengthy, even given the group size. We were there for nearly 2 hours, in which time several groups as we were subdivided based on booths/tables etc. finished their meals before other tables had even received theirs. Otherwise we had zero complaints and we do feel the wait staff serving us was doing the best they could given what appeared to be an understaffing issue.
