Kebab 49

Came here and always get served up great food. However sometimes it’s a hit or miss in terms of the seasoning. Great place to visit for dinner, has both outside and indoor seating. The waiters were really fast and very energetic. The food is delicious, very hearty, filling yet light. I recommend the beef platter from here. I’ve always tried new dishes when I visit this place, and they vary a lot in flavour which I appreciate and find myself coming back for more. Would overall rate a 7.8/10

I recently dined at this restaurant and was blown away by the exceptional service and delicious food that truly captured the essence of Turkish flavors. The service at Kebab 49 was top-notch. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff who made me feel right at home. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and went out of their way to ensure that my dining experience was enjoyable. The service was prompt, and my needs were met with a genuine smile, making me feel truly valued as a guest. The menu offers a wide range of traditional Turkish dishes that are bursting with flavor.

Such an amazing team, the staff are so friendly and the service is super excellent. The food is very delicious. I ordered the Mix Grill which was amazing, I really enjoyed the dish which has a portion of every meal they have in the menu and it was fantastic choice. The staff were smiling all the time and they offered me 3 pieces of complementary Pistachio Rolls which made my day. I will definitely visit this restaurant again in the near future.

Was in the area visiting for work and happened to see this place. It’s very welcoming and the vibe is what you’d expect from any middle eastern restaurant. Ordered the Turkish sautéed lamb that came in a hot pot and it was alright had too much oil for my taste and found more mushrooms than lamb, their rice pudding was beyond!! Must try! Good place overall but may be a little bit on the pricier end?

A truly great Turkish experience. Not being the most experienced in the Turkish repertoire, we ordered the variety platters. The cold appetizer platter was an assortment of dips and salads. All tasted fresh, and we got to sample a few items that we wouldn't have known to order, including a delicious tomato and Bulgar wheat dip that tasted like kibbeh. The meat platter is perfect for those who are indecisive or unfamiliar with the menu. Its the best hits of grilled meats, served with bread and a bit of veg. The mixed pide platter was a hit with the kids! The variety made it easy for everyone to find something they liked. We had the kunefe dessert of pan grilled cheese with spun pastry and honey. Decadent. Absolutely recommend for a truly unique experience. The staff does their best to explain the menu and give great recommendations. Its a great stop for a meal even if you have no idea what to order.

My Turkish friend recommended this place, and my arab tummy couldn't resist, and oh my goodness! I had a food coma, yet I kept eating and eating until I passed out completely! After I woke up, I ordered the most delicious kunafa, the sweet and friendly waiters kept refilling my tea so generously to help me digest the enormous food I ate. In brief, I highly recommend! Amazing food, lovely service and great experience overall! Thank you

Been going there few times now. The food taste is amazing very close to the food taste in Turkey. I never had the chance to try the chicken donner since every-time I go for dinner they’re already sold out. I think they should be prepping some more. It’s on the pricey side honestly but worth it. Repeated customer.

We always wanted to go Turkey and taste their Turkish food. Kebab49 kept the exact same taste on Turkey in Toronto. Super tasty, delicious, well served , great quantity and super hospitality - Simply amazing. Food was so yum and tasty. We ordered Chicken platter , Veg Pide , both were super yummy. They have wood oven - means authentic wood open pizza’s are made here. Staff was super nice , and they know how to make customer feel comfortable as if they are eating in Turkey !! Great Taste !! They have free parking and it right opposite to kipling station miway side at subway crescent. Over all its MUST TRY restaurant!! I will go again !! Thank you Kebab 49 !!

This is the 1st time me and my husband tried Turkish cuisine. And we both loved it. The place is clean, the staff is very much friendly. The guy who was serving us, his name is Bahadir. Bahadir you were awesome He helped us understanding the Turkish Cuisine. Loved the food, overall staff service. The dessert was the cherry on the cake. I will definately reccommend this place to all. Must must try it out

Lamb casserole is a fantastic meal. The decor is comforting. Nice touch with the oil paintings. QR code for menu is a first-time experience for me. Easy to update the menu and prices without printing the menu on paper. Staff is friendly with a smile. Wonderful feeling to have the entire restaurant all to myself at 3PM. :- The logo on the booth's seats is a nice touch.
