Kayak Safari

We had a wonderful time at Kayak Safari in Huntingdon! It’s about 1.15h driving distance from Montreal. It’s located in one of Quebec’s oldest and most charming towns, and the drive from Montreal was scenic and relaxing lots of countryside, farms, and beautiful views along the way.nnThe activity itself is perfect for outdoor lovers. The staff were super friendly and professional. They gave us all the info we needed and even pointed out some local attractions nearby. Reservation is required in advance , which you can do online or by calling them.nnThe setup is simple: they drive you to the top of the river, and you paddle your way back down about 7 km. All safety gear is provided and included . The water is calm and flows at a steady, smooth pace—very safe for families, beginners, or anyone looking for a bit of light physical activity.nnAlong the way, we saw birds, butterflies, and enjoyed the peaceful, clear water. The atmosphere is quiet and ambient perfect for relaxing and reconnecting with nature.nnThere’s plenty of parking on-site, and nearby you’ll find a great ice cream shop and even a couple of brewpubs to enjoy after your paddle.nnWe’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

Top notch! The staff, the location, the whole experience was amazing. Every single employee was polite, helpful, accommodating and so welcoming. The current is so smooth you can just chill and float on down. We even saw a bald eagle! Amazing day on the river, would definitely do it again. Thank you Kayak Safari!

Good place for a relaxed afternoon. The staff was efficient and kind. You can take your time to navigate, stop and enjoy the beautiful landscapes. The river was a little bit low at the time we went and we got stuck on the rocks many times. An experience they definitely worth to try.

Highly recommend - the scenery is to die for and the water is very calm. It's like a lazy river. We ended up being on the water for over 3 hours - the company doesn't rush you at all. It's very relaxing, you just take your time and enjoy! The workers are very nice too.
