Our favourite Korean restaurant in this neighbourhood. We tried a few other ones but our favourite is still Kang's Kitchen.nnWe love ordering their Galbi Kalguksoo or Clam Kalguksoo, Beef Bulgogi Mountain, Stir-fried Soy Clams, fried chicken, etc.nnWe're looking forward to our next visit
Love their beef rib kalguksoo - the noodles and the soup base was great.nnAlso like their rice cakes and sausagesnnThe bulgogi hot pot was good with a lot of meat but it's a bit too sweet.nnThe seafood pancake was very crispy but not a lot of ingredientsnnThe servers were attentive even though you ordered through the machinennOverall, it's a nice experience and we will come back for more signature food
Food was just ok for a Korean restaurant. Definitely a lot more expensive for what it is...nnI believe the 5 star reviews here is from the promotion they have, however I don't care much about these 'freebies', so I'm here to provide an honest unbiased opinion.nnWe ordered the following for 6 people:n- spicy chicken hot grilln- soy chicken hot grilln- rose tteokbokkinnThe spicy chicken was decent but I honestly feel most Korean restaurants in Metro Vancouver have terrible value when it comes to price and portion. The spicy chicken plate is probably good for like 1.5 people...for 2 guys I would recommend ordering another side to feel a bit more full.nnThe Rose tteokbokki was just ok. It was basically just rice cakes smothered in KD Mac and Cheese sauce...at least that's how it tasted to me. You're better off just buying a box of KD Mac & Cheese on sale for under 1 dollar and cooking your own rice cakes with this sauce.nnGetting a table was also quite difficult on a busy Saturday night. Interior and service was good.nnOverall, it's not a bad restaurant, but it didn't blow me away...and for the price, there's definitely more options out there!
Fast paced, loud but fun, family style dinner environment. Ordered a little of everything to try out this restaurant. Everything was well cooked. My favourite was the seafood pancake. Service was quick but very kind. Place was clean. Wouldn’t mind coming back here!
I ordered the octopus/pork grill, katsu, and lunch pork.nnThe service was excellent—staff were attentive and consistently checked on my table. The prices are reasonable, and parking is convenient since it's in a mall.nnThe food was average. I had these dishes between lunch and dinner when no one was in the restaurant.nThe spicy pork wasn’t hot when served, despite being on a small grill plate. The octopus/pork belly main dish tasted good, but the pork belly was a bit too chewy, likely due to using frozen slices. The portion size for the katsu was generous.nnThere are many menu options, and I can tell the kitchen staff put in a lot of prep work every day.nnWishing them the best.
