Was sold a private insurance policy through kamloops insurance services and they took my void cheque for the payments, didn't submit the cheque to the private insurance company for preauthorised debit. I was unaware of the fact that the private insurance company was not getting their money because icbc was taking their share for the registration. I was then contacted six months later and made to pay 500 dollars, less than a month before Christmas due to their carelessness. No apologies were made and I recommend anyone looking for an insurance agent to keep looking. Very bad business practice and careless with financial information.
