Dr. Kamel is a fantastic physician. He treats the entire condition, not just one aspect. He's practical, knowledgeable, and very professional. He transitions from conversations with a peds patient to a peds parent easily and naturally.
I am a parent of 2 children, one with profound needs. Dr. Kamel is very capable of treating my special needs child and has facilitated care of my child. He's a good resource for all your pediatric concerns.
His office staff however is seriously lacking in integrity, motivation, and ability. When you call during normal business hours it is a coin toss whether you get the Doc's answering service or voicemail. If you leave a voicemail, you can't expect a call back immediately, most of the time you aren't called back that day even. The office staff does not understand urgent requests, in fact they tend to ignore them entirely. The office staff operates in stark contrast to Dr. Kamel's ethic. Overall, it is worth it to speak with Dr. Kamel, but know that his staff basically sucks.
