Super affordable Filipino breakfast. Generous portions. For the family we got tosilog, tapsilog, porksteak, and lumpia. Everything was great and satisfied the craving. Was way too much for us. Surprisingly their coffee was my favorite. Got our food within minutes. The only downside is that they don't have high chairs or booster seats for babies.

This is the kind of place I like to support. Food and service was very good. Will go again.Food: 5/5

I love their authentic Filipino dishes. Every dish reminds me of home and all that is Phillipines. I recommend this rare pearl.

Meal was $10.75 including tax. You get to choose 2 items plus you get soup and unlimited rice that you get yourself. I had the Binagoongan and the aloo? I think that was what it was called. Also tried the spring rolls, pork balls, peanut butter sauce thing dish. and the beef stew. Service was very friendly. She tried to explain what everything was to us. Not the most comfortable environment. When we went it was quite humid inside. The food was ok. It was quite greasy in some cases, though I think that might be how its supposed to be served.

Well this is my go to place for breakfast Tocino. Huge portions of rice, two eggs and that delicious pork. Everytime I come here I am satisfied and never end up having lunch. Very tasty food and very friendly staff, great local hidden gem.

Kalan is the best filipino breakfast in the city of Winnipeg. Their Tocino and garlic rice is the best combo I have ever eaten.

Breakfast was very good. Unfamiliar with the dishes so we wimped out and ordered Canadian BF bacon & sausage. Eggs were perfect! Bacon nicely done. Will be back to try Tapsilog.

Great food served family style. Might want to bring along a Filipino friend if you aren't familiar with the cuisine; the selection changes every day.
