The crew at Kal Tire in Peace River were first class, from the initial phone call inquiry about winter tires for my truck, all the way to the excellent customer service I received in store on the install date. I've dealt with other Kal Tire locations and also received proper service, but this location was above and beyond!
The service guy who helped me get my tire changed over on the side of the road, Albert, was fantastic! He definitely gets a 5 star rating! He was friendly, worked hard and was really fast! Thank you again! I would have given the branch a 5 star but the front desk had a hard time trying to get warranty figured out for my tire, but was still very friendly and tried. Hopefully when I go in tomorrow I will have better luck having the warranty on the tire honoured.
Worst mechanic i ever took my vehicle to. Had issues starting engine. They diagnosed for a day and i was told that fuel pump is the issue and needs to be changed in order to diagnose further which was quoted for $1200 . When i asked if changing the fuel pump would fix it. Then they said we are not sure their might be more problems and it might cost you up to $2000 . I paid for their labour and had to get towed it to Toyota and all the issue was just because a engine fuse was missing. Which was $5. Just because of lack of knowledge of their mechanics $5 issue costed me over $900 because I had to get it towed to Toyota, just because they could not figure out what was wrong with the vehicle. Never going there back again.
Awesome customer service. Was about to start a long trip when I noticed a flat. Walked-in to Kal with no appointment and even though they were busy, managed to slot me in and I was back on the road in no time!
