Kal Sports Bar

The Kal is the quintessential small town bar with just enough of a modern flair to be welcoming to patrons of all drinking ages. It's always a good time there. The staff are attentive and professional and the vibe is always excellent! Highly recommend the Kal for ales and good times!

I'm all about service and accountability. This restaurant charged my credit card on a date that I wasn't there. I called and the wait person who answered the phone said I wasn't the only one that day who had the same complaint. I was given Cheryl's name as she is the accountant. I spoke with her 10 days ago and she advised that she would look into this and let me know. Now 10 days later, I have to follow up with her again, only for her to tell me she couldn't find anything, to bring in my statement for proof ( ? the same information I already provided, guess they might not believe me or something) and if she can't find anything to take it up with my credit card company. The attitude shown was that of zero empathy or willingness to get to the bottom of a customer concern. I even offered to her that she seemed like she didn't care either way about this issue. Someone else's problem I guess. Out of principle and lack of customer service, this is one place that won't get my repeat business ever again. Customer service must be a foreign concept. Provide your credit card information wisely.

Stopped by for some food and a drink on a recent trip. It is your standard sports bar in a downtown core. Ordered nachos and the quality and size were on the weak side. Beer was cold and well priced, service was good and the patio is great for people watching. I may have just ordered the wrong item or came on the wrong day but typically appys and nachos are the bread and butter of sports bars so I was a little disappointed.

Server was very caring and helpfully. Price was reasonable. Food was very good. Would visit again.
