Kal Sports Bar

Ordered pizza. Have ordered before and has been excellent. This time we ordered to go… picked it up services was great, pizza was terrible. Had WAY too much red sauce. Needs to be consistent. All the other times was great!!! Had to scrape off more sauce than we wanted!! Wont order it again!!

We've been loyal patrons of The Kal for years and it just keeps getting better. From incredible food you have to try the tacos and dessert – see pics! to the welcoming atmosphere and great service, it's always a solid experience.nnBonus: we also have the pleasure of doing their apparel , and we can confidently say – they rock it inside and out! The Kal isn't just a local legend, it’s a piece of Vernon history done right. Highly recommend.nnThanks Again for the great Vibe!

We had brunch here recently for the first time, which is apparently strictly cut off at the time they stipulate. We arrived about ten minutes prior to cutoff and so chose meals quickly, and were greeted by a server just before they closed the window. We had caesars which were the daily special, avocado toast and a chicken/brie sandwich with dirty fries. The sandwich and fries were yummy, while the avocado toast and hashbrowns were just ok. The bar was very busy, we will definitely stop again.

Visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. There are great gluten free options on the menu; gluten free buns for burgers, two sizes of pizza crust, the usual salad selection. Our server quickly helped me pick out the chicken brie burger with a side of mixed greens. There are wings on the menu but no dedicated fryer means cross contamination so nope. Hubby had the turkey club. Turkey club has real turkey in it, not deli sliced which is refreshing.nMy burger was delicious; the chicken was not oversized but beautifully cooked and seasoned. I liked the cranberry in the sauce. Importantly the bun did not fall apart; a sturdy gluten free bun is hard to find. The salad had cranberries, pecans, tomatoes, arugula and cucumber and I would have it again.nThis dining room is 19+ and I appreciated seeing a staff member dealing kindly but firmly with a young couple who were unable to produce two pieces of identification.nDrinks were on - par with other establishments and we didn't have to wait long for refills.nThis is a true sports bar with speakers hanging off the walls, keno numbers on the screen in the corner and a pull tab machine and ATM. I imagine game night could be rambunctious and fun if you're into that sort of thing.nOverall would visit again. I was happy with my burger. Maybe pizza next time?

This pub is always packed, offering delicious food and a wide selection of dishes and drinks. There’s even a family room where it’s quieter. Overall, it’s a great spot, though service quality depends on the staff—some are super friendly, while others seem indifferent. One drawback is the visible food waste station in the dining area, which feels out of place and not aesthetically pleasing for guests.
