Story

Kakalots is a friendly family restaurant that has been serving amazing chinese food for over 7 years family owned. We are proud supporters of the community and strive to bring you the best service and food possible! we also offer a weekend smorgasbord fri-sun starting at 5:00pm going until 8:00pm and we hope to see you there. Offering delivery every day and its free if your in 7km of us with a minimum order of 30$ we have a chef's lunch special at 11am to 2pm. We hope to see you soon!!!

Been pretty disappointed in the Chinese food in Quesnel, and wasn't expecting much from here due to some of the reviews, especially the 70 year old Karen who had a stroke writing their angry, incoherent review. Anyways, ordered a dinner for 2 combo near closing I might add: Sweet & Sour pork, Almond Chicken, Chicken Chow Mein, Wonton Soup, and Egg Rolls. Everything was excellent. Not too greasy, fried properly, tasted great. Will be my new go to Chinese restaurant in Quesnel.
Was told no delivery Do NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY the absolute WORST CHINESE food I have ever bought in my 70 years on this planet. Was told it was prawns, was not f ......g , they stretched the shrimp by rolling under a Rolling Pin, paid $80.00 for the worst pig food that I have truly seen you will wish you listened to this if you go ahead and buy this garbage..They should be sued for even trying to call this septic sludge food. Take my advise or sit on the toilet all night, you will thank me if you even lay eyes on this garbage. Our dogs had not eaten all day as they were out in the bush with us, they sniffed it and ran away they would not even taste it. Do not say you were not warned. Rick Larson.
Great food! Super hot super fresh. Don't listen to the bad reviewers. It was very yummy
Not very good Chinese food at all!!. Very unimpressed. Took an hour for delivery and the food not hot. Ordered fried rice, chicken chow main, sweet and sour pork and ginger beef. Chow main was so plain and no flavor what so ever. Normally pineapple comes in the sweet and sour pork and there was none. For what you pay it's not worth it. I'd make better Chinese food myself.

I loved it so much compared to the other chinese restaurants in town so I sent my colleagues there. And the next day they decided to switch where they order chinese food from now on. I ordered the dinner for 3 so my partner and I could have left overs and it was plenty. The portions are awesome! We had it for dinner the next day. Chicken chowmein, beef chopsuey, sweet and sour pork, ginger beef, deep fried prawns. I don't eat seafood so i subbed egg roll and they were really good as well. And I ordered a large wonton soup on the side. It was oily, but very yummy. I just did the paper towel trick I ordered delivery, and it took around 20mins
I have bin odering food her for years now for myself and my family not once has the food bin bad. The service is always fast and the staff is very freindly :

Smorgasbord selection was poor and what was there was either dried up dregs or not there at all. The staff avoided contact and wouldn't answer questions as to when the dishes would be replenished. For $16.95 I would hope to get something edible. Very dissatisfied. I hadn't been there in a while. Not going back...and I thought the Dragon Gate was bad.
My favourite restaurant in town. A cheerful family atmosphere. Huge variety and the best Seafood and chicken Hot Pot ever !! If you want something done in a special way .. just ask.. They aim to please. Prices are reasonable and staff is always so friendly. Love the Buffet !!! They cater for special events !!
