Authentic Thai food place in Halifax, ebthusiastic staff with great food. We love shrimp rolls, crispy and tasty sauce! Also, the portion for red curry was generous which contains more meat than we thought. So does Thai Satay Chicken! Tom Yum Soup tastes different with the one tried in others, which is more sweeter but still delicious. Thai iced tea is a good drink to try here if it's a milk tea lover!
Delicious Thai food! I got the green curry with tofu and coconut rice and it had the perfect amount of flavour and spice. The tofu was amazing and the coconut rice was quite tasty. That said, the price is very steep considering the quantity. The additional fee for coconut rice is also steep, I’ve noticed that it’s usually 1-2$and not 3-4$. This would dissuade me from adding this to my regular rotation of takeout.
Tasty and fresh authentic Thai food. Pad See Eew Noodle with Shrimps was taste like the original dish in Thailand. They served with jumbo Shrimps which was so good. Spicy noodle with chicken was so flavorful of Thai herbs and chilli paste. Fresh salad rolls filled with pickle carrot and all fresh veggies and egg you have to die for. Honey Garlic Barbecue Chicken was so tasty. Came with jasmine rice. Recommend to try they also have stamps card for claiming 1 free dish after 10 stamps. It is better than the others restaurant. I have never seen any restaurant doing this royalty card like this so far. Saving money a lot. There also have parking lots in front of Monaghan Square. Free parking and a lot of space available.
Great meal in a very nice space with excellent service. We all ordered a dinner combo, which included a main, Jasmine rice, a soup, and a spring roll. It was a great deal and a lot of food. The hot and sour soup was extremely flavorful and really blew me away. The spring roll was also delicious. The ginger stir fry didn't have much ginger flavour to it, which surprised me given the other dishes! It was still well prepared though, but next time I'm back I'll try a curry or noodle dish.
This had to be the most delicious Thai food in Nova Scotia! The food was superb. We never realized that the meals we ordered were part of a lunch combo so were surprised when they served the soup and spring roll. The hot and sour soup was my favorite! Close second was the crispy chicken in sweet and sour sauce. We will definitely be back! Such a wonderful experience!
Absolutely delicious lunch combo, made to order and perfectly fresh. The best hot and sour soup I've had in the city. Fresh spring roll. Perfect rice. Friendly, quick, and attentive service. I will return, they've really become my preferred Thai choice.
I will give a 3.5 star not commenting on taste, just the price itself. A chicken Pad Thai take out for 16.99 and plus tax total comes to 19.54. I didn’t know the price before I ordered, if I know I would have canceled. And there are no cutlery.
Tasting ok, but every single dish was full of carrots, the carrots were so thick which had no taste, they did seriously pull down the overall taste of the dishes… For the price of food, I think you can vary your veggies.
I made a large order ~15 people for takeout this weekend and it was ready on time, prepared and packaged excellent, and the food was wonderful. All my guests were thrilled, and in particular the Satay Chicken skewers were a huge hit. I have eaten in the restaurant a couple of times and have always been pleased with the service and the meals have been excellent.
I recently dined at Kajohn Thai restaurant in Halifax and had a great experience. I ordered the dinner special with spicy noodles and hot and sour soup, and both dishes were delicious. The hot and sour soup was particularly noteworthy - it was one of the best I've ever tasted. Overall, I would highly recommend Kajohn Thai for anyone looking for delicious and authentic Thai cuisine in Halifax.
