Absolutely love the cupcakes here. I’ve had the opportunity to try a red velvet cupcake regular batter a few years ago and really enjoyed it. But more recently, I tried a dairy free version of the red velvet cupcake picture attached and loved it even more. It was very delicious and not overly sweet just the perfect amount of sweetness. The service is awesome. Each time I’ve spoken to them over the phone or in person, it’s been a great experience so I can’t complain. The only thing I would say is that if you need to contact them for anything, your best bet to get a quick response is by calling them. You may not get a quick response if you try to email them or contact them via social media… so call them. The other thing too is I was a little surprised at the size of the cupcake I got. I ordered the ‘big cupcake’ which I thought would be bigger than the regular but it just felt like it was a regular size cupcake with extra layers of icing to make it a ‘big cupcake’ Overall though, great experience. I’m really glad this place has delicious dessert and they’re able to offer it in dairy free, gluten free and so on
Can't say how awesome Clever Cupcakes is for birthday parties! We had our daughter's 6th birthday here and it was amazing. You literally just book a time and boom everything is covered. The host was amazing with the kids for the 2 hours and she had every kid engaged at all times. They had a craft at the beginning followed by a tour and then the best part was decorating 2 cupcakes 1 to eat and the other to take home. We had a small break where we got to bring a a pizza and everyone ate and they supplied an awesome tea party. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for anyone wanting to have an easy parry planned.
We ordered cupcakes as wedding favours for our June 2021 wedding and they were tasty and a huge hit! The ordering process was smooth and easy. They also catered to the dietary needs our guests had. Our gluten free wedding cake was also delicious and turned out exactly how I wanted it to be. I highly recommend The Clever Cupcakes for all your sweet tooth needs.
I had a party for my daughter's 7th birthday. All guests loved. The staff are super kind, polite and super happy. Congratulations for the wonderful place! I supper recommend.
My daughter had her 5th birthday party here and her and her friends had a fantastic time. The hostess, Danielle, was very enthusiastic, engaging, and just awesome with the kids! Many of them could not stop talking about all the cool things they saw in the bakery after the party. It was a relaxing 2 hours for us parents as they took care of pretty much everything. Thank you Clever Cupcakes for a great event!
I placed an order for 28 custom cupcakes, went in person to explain how I wanted them to be, showed them the pictures and those pictures were also available on their website. Then called again in the morning next day to make sure everything was being done as explained, was assured everything was understood and I could pick up the cupcakes on time. Went to pick the cupcakes up, only to find they looked nothing like what was ordered, after showing them the pictures and telling them that the cupcakes looked nothing like I ordered they told me I don’t have to pay for the cupcakes that looked horrible, not considering the fact that these cupcakes were made to share the gender of our first baby and was a special event for us, and that is exactly why I came to the shop in person to make sure it was the way I wanted them and also called to further confirm. After a lot of back and forth conversation the person on the register told me her manager told her to add ears and horn of unicorn as I waited and it was already 6pm by then, the person tried shoving and removing things on the cupcakes while I stood their, which made them even further horrible. After a lot of argument it was decided that they will redo the cupcakes for me to pick up the next day again. And to my further disappointment there were still missing elements in the cupcakes the next time they were picked up. There was the gender of the baby to be mentioned on the cupcakes that was still missing on some cupcakes, so had to explain friends the gender instead of having that element of surprise. Also there were 26 cupcakes in the box they gave us, instead of 28, so they didn’t even bother checking the order before handing it to us, considering they had messed it up once already. Furthermore they had put their company card with pricing of cupcakes in each individual boxes that we got made. They should have asked us or confirmed wether we wanted price tags shared in the cupcakes that were suppose to celebrate something that was so close to our hearts. It wasn’t a commercial event and neither was it a sponsored event that they were putting flyer cards sharing the prices of their cupcakes. If people wanted they could have googled them and found that out. This was something that was super close to our heart and something that we wanted to be super special but the whole experience was extremely stressful and extremely disappointing. Also they pretty much gave us the same cupcakes from the previous night and didn’t bother replacing all of them. No apologies were made or consideration from their side. Just super bad service and no refund. Would not recommend this place to people, especially for any special events they plan.

We had my by daughter’s 11th birthday. Danielle was the host and she was one if a kind. May daughter never had so much fun in any if her birthday parties. The place is organized, well decorated and super dun for kids Koodos to everyone at clever cupcakes. You guys gave my a daughter a birthday to remember THANK YOU!!!!

We had a great experience here! We got cupcakes for my son’s birthday party because of allergy and dietary restrictions. They were so accommodating and friendly, we were served by Olivia. It was refreshing to be able to one-stop-shop for 3 different types. We got regular, vegan, and gluten free. The special order ones were packed separately so cross contamination was not an issue, plus they allow you to just buy singles of the special order cupcakes. It may seem minor or funny to some to rave about vegan cupcakes, but you made a 4yr old girl with allergies so excited to be able to actually have cake that looked like everyone else’s. You can’t underestimate that! Thanks so much!
