Went to this location Wednesday evening with my 3 year old daughter and was greeted right away with a nice warm smile and was asked if I needed any help. I had not been to that location in a while and was in the market for some new dressers. The sales representative mason was super helpful and very knowledgeable. He was able to direct me in the right direction and answer all my questions. Also when my daughter needed to use the washroom he was super helpful and guided us. Overall very great experience. Would come back again! 10/10

Visited JYSK for the first time today, and I had a great shopping experience thanks to Mike! He was super helpful from the beginning to end. We ended up having to make 2 trips to load all the furniture and not only did Mike help us load everything but he stayed back to make sure we were able to pick up everything right by closing. He recommended some great pieces, was really kind, and patient! Thank you Mike- looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Wow! My first JYSK experience was extraordinary! I was looking for bedding, throw pillows, etc, and decided to take a look in JYSK at Upper James in Hamilton. Within about 30 seconds, I was greeted by Lou, who approached me in the bedding department, and asked me if I required any assistance. She showed me lots of duvet options and where to find the right sizes. After she went to help another customer, I was further greeted by Manpreet, who also assisted me in selecting a bedding set, based on the bed headboard I had previously purchased. She gave great colour coordination advice, and I left, super happy with my decision. I understand department stores are struggling right now to find their feet, given the pandemic. However, this store exhibited second-to-none customer service with great attitude, and you could easily tell it came from the upper management level, filtering down to all of its employees. I was so impressed with my entire experience, that I will definitely be back to look for different items for my home in the future. Not only were the prices great, but the designs and items were stylish and well put together. Thank you store #78 for a wonderful customer experience!

Went to JYSK to browse for an office chair. Been to many places but couldn’t find anything I liked. The associate Mike at JYSK at Upper James was great. He asked me what I needed and spent time with me to find the perfect chair. Turns out gaming chairs are much more comfortable than a regular desk chair. Very happy with it and also got me a great deal.

Recently my boyfriend and I went there to purchase a desk, and all the staff were more than helpful, kind and smiling. They answered all our questions and did an excellent job at assisting us. I would recommend coming here if you want great customer service and good deals on products.

Just purchased a dresser and two nightstands with Mike! He was wonderful and helped us throughout the whole process. He was honest and made sure we were satisfied with the products before leaving! I would highly recommend Mike as your sales person!

Anna at cash is very helpful and pleasant! I came to return an item. She recommended a substitute and took me to it in the store. All this while greeting other customers as they came in and returning promptly to help them. A+++

The store manager Mike is very helpful. He helped us every step of the way when we purchased a dining table set, from logistics to pricing. I would highly recommend this location which has very professional and friendly staff.
