JW's BBQ & Brew

Stopped here on the way to a backpacking trip in the Porkies. The BBQ platter with brisket and sausage was excellent with huge portions. Plenty of fuel for the hike ahead. We went back on the way home for some real food after eating on the trail for 2 days. This time I had the burger which was awesome! Highly recommend this place. Oh yeah, a couple of good local brews on tap were also a nice addition. Don't let the pictures fool you, we were there early and the place started filling up quickly. Don't skip the Yooper Bites!

Excellent BBQ joint! Family friendly and very nice owners/staff! Very knowledgeable about the area for those traveling or snowmobiling through. Great atmosphere and very clean. A must try if your in the Bergland area!! Thanks again for the great meal for our family JW crew!!

Excellent food and service. We have been eating at JW's for 3 years now and haven't had a bad meal yet. We especially enjoy their fish on Fridays and the Mac and cheese. Their service is extremely fast and they are always coming over to tell you when your food will be out. Over all it is a wonderful place to eat and you should definitely stop by if you're in the area. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍

Stopped there after a fun day hiking the waterfalls at Porcupine Mountain. Had 6 adults and 3 children (6,7, & 10). Food was very good along with the service. Prices very reasonable. Would eat there again with no qualms. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to others!

This is the perfect place after a long day hiking in the Porcupine Mountains! The portions were quite generous and their prices were fair. The BBQ sample plate was a hearty amount of food! The staff were extremely friendly too. The BBQ was delicious, although the pulled pork was a bit dry. Still very delicious, especially with their sauces. The mustard sauce was especially good! Also, they make a very unique and tasty cornbread! They had a big selection of bottled beers and some really good kinds on tap with a good variety! Although I didn't have room for it, they talked about a home made bread pudding that sounded and looked amazing. PS, super clean bathrooms
