Today in smart local business: When my boy who is basically blind without his glasses broke his backup pair this morning, we called his optometrist of 13 years for an emergency appointment to get the ball rolling on a new pair. No luck, the first appointment available was next Thursday. Really. A week and a half. Did I mention at the time we thought Billy had no glasses at all? Since we were in a bit of a pickle we called Justin Barry of Justin Barry Optical. Without missing a beat he squeezed the boy in for an appointment today. When we arrived, Justin was more than helpful and made sure to put a rush on the glasses so that the boy will have the new glasses ASAP. The Optometrist was excellent as well. That, folks, is how you seize an opportunity win clients, in a sector where people are very loyal. Thanks, Justin. That one appointment won our family over. We'll see you next week for my my daughter's appointment and mine as well.

My family and I have been using Justin Barry for years and Kristen has always been amazing when assisting us. The staff at JBO are very knowledgable, friendly, and helpful and always have a big smile which is refreshing. The selection is great and once they even ordered frames for me that that I found online that they didn't have in the store. Even though I have now moved from Bowmanville to Oshawa I still make the drive to JBO because their customer service is amazing and we have never had a bad experience with them. My husband will be switching to Justin Barry as well.

I had an amazing experience at Justin Barry Optical. Finding a pair of glasses that satisfied both my needs and wants has never felt easier, due to their great selection of frames and amazing staff. In particular, Matthew was an outstanding employee. He was extremely kind, patient and made my transition from metal frames to plastic frames an easy and simple one. Overall, great atmosphere and fantastic staff.

I will never go anywhere else for prescription glasses and contacts! They are also amazing with kids helping my son with his first pair of glasses. Amazing people that work there.
