Really enjoyed our meal here. Loved the beer selection, all made at the College. When we went a glass of beer was $5, which is really good for local beer. The food was really good, and the staff were amazing. I would highly recommend eating here.
Gets it done! Selection of college beers here plus the folks are super nice. Grub hits the spot too. Parking: Lots of parking as it's within a hotel Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access, spacious too.
I've been here time to time over the last few years and since the meth heads in the kitchen are no longer there things are better then they use to be!
Went for tuesday wing night. No longer exists. Super dissapointed. Ended up going across the street for pasta tuesday at BPs. Would give 0 stars but the staff is awesome and super kind and understanding! Won’t be going back until wing night is back. No one wants to pay 18$ for 8 wings.
Excellent food and service for a great price. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place. The chicken mango rice bowl was delicious. Was in for just the 2nd time last night and while our waitress was excellent again, everything else was terrible. Pork chop was tasteless, ribs were terrible and beer was flat. Ended up sick later that evening.
Solid specials on Monday. 2 for 1 steak sandwich. It’s a high quality cut of Alberta beef - can’t go wrong. Best part of this resto is the local beer brewed next door by the 1 of a kind college brewmaster program.
As far as I am concerned Just Jacks in Olds seems to forgotten by too many of the townsfolk. And there is no reason for this. The food is very good, the prices are good except maybe the gravy is a little small for the price, good gravey tho, portion size is good and the service was great. We generally don't eat out often, but I would easily return to Just Jacks.
The staff here was fantastic stayed for couple hours had too much fun. Great food and beverage. Great for the parents of our team for great conversation and get to know each other. Great place for college students to vent and have good times. Had buffalo burger had nachos huge plate full. Thanks to the great and friendly staff. GREAT JOB
So this time wasn't my first visit to Jack's but it will likely be my last. the service was terrible. Server was much more interesting in hanging with her friends than taking orders from customers and the food was not any better. It was slow and when it finally arrived was much over cooked. not at all good quality for the price. Next time our flames will be getting my cash and my recommendation.
