Get the Ahi Tuna Poke!!! Great starter. Winter Kale salad is delicious, and the Chicken Curry is very good. Great tasting vegan options too. Owners are attentive and friendly, chef is fantastic with his cooking and presentation. Nice relaxed contemporary atmosphere inside. What a find!
The food was very tasty. The Beet Ginger soup started off with just enough ginger. Beautiful. Also the Cod Cheek tacos also had a bit of a bite. And since I never had cod cheeks before, I had to check. Sure enough, they are from the cheeks of a cod. Impressive and friendly service to cap it off
Best salad ever!! Not sure if the Winter Kale Salad dressing had cardamon or cinnamon in it but complimented the ingredients of pomegranate, kale, spinach , pecans and feta to perfection… satisfied!!!
I had the chick pea curry with chicken, AMAZING meal! Every part of the meal was spot on, perfectly seasoned, cooked and spiced, not spicy but flavorful. The rice, the naan and the curry itself was incredible. I'm from Quebec, and I'll do the drive from home just for that meal. Congratulations for the chef/owner, but mainly thank you for the best meal I've have in months, and the best by far that I've had in my month here in Newfoundland! And my husband had the club and he really like it too and the seasoning of the fries was spot on. If anyone hesitate to go to that restaurant, please stop and just go. Amazing food, really fair price, vegetarian options, coffee bar didn't try but I wish I had the time to try, the menu seem delicious. Generous portions without being excessive! Thank you again for that out of this world meal!! And I'll come back for sure next time I come to Newfoundland! Sorry for not sharing a picture, didn't even think of taking one, I just wanted to enjoy that perfect meal !
Great place for lunch. They were a little disorganized when we arrive, I think due to a staff shortage but we really enjoyed our meals. Prices were reasonable. The bruschetta chicken burger was very tasty and you could see that they put some care in putting our meals together. My wife had the turkey club on sourdough made with fresh roasted turkey . . . delicious. You might want to ask for one less slice of bread in your sandwich. Our server was excellent and seemed to be the only one working the front of house. Very professional and attentive. I'd recommend making a reservation, as seating is limited. They don't answer the phone when they are busy so you may have to call a couple times to get ahold of someone. Definitely would go back.
The food is delicious and well prepared. There are lots of great healthy food. Have gone there 5 times in the past few weeks and tried something different every time, and I was always delighted, so were whoever I was with. Quite surprising for Grand Falls!Food: 5/5
We went to this restaurant because we picked it out of a list of restaurants. It was so delicious, I couldn't belive it...it's been a very long time since I've experienced this from a restaurant. The Butter Chicken, Chicken Alfredo and Fish and Chips was outstanding. The chef and staff is second to none...very very well done guys
We dined here twice. One on our way west and again as we drive back to the east coast. The food and service were excellent both times. We were pleased to find vegan and gluten-free options on the menu.
We had a splendid evening celebrating my brother's birthday. The waitress was delightful. We had grand ol' time.
If I could rate this -5 stars, I would. While the food appears to be delicious it is absolutely disgusting. I will never ever come back here. The price is not at all cheap, honestly you would be better off going to McDonald's rather than this poor excuse of a restaurant. The service was rather good and the atmosphere gives you the false pretense that the food will be exceptional, however that is about it. I ordered the southern chicken and waffles with a side salad. First of all when you think of southern chicken and waffles you do not expect a sandwich, which is horribly bland, you can not tell the taste of the chicken from the waffles and the lettuce, the "mayo" tasted like butter, and even then butter has more flavor. How do you mess up a side salad? it is lettuce, although apparently this restaurant figured out a way, I wouldn't even call the bacon on it "bacon". Now the worse part of this meal was the bruschetta it was burned and they toped it with balsamic vinegar, some people may like this vinegar but it was still absolutely disgusting. I went here for my birthday and wasted at least $30 on this! What a waste! I would rather eat anywhere else. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE!
