Juicy Bone

I struggle putting 4 stars in this review. I say that because I feel this place has had better days and they are struggling with circumstances beyond their control. I wish I could have experienced this place before the dams broke. The food was so so... being the end of summer and the struggles I am sure they face, the so so food and service could be the end result. I am really hoping that they can make it through the next few years so they can realize the potential of this location. The river front location has evidence of an amazing experience. You can see the potential and immediately feel frustrated with the situation, but realize it is not the owner or management's fault. They seem to be doing the best they can given the circumstances.

The waitress was extremely attentive and available whenever we needed her. She took our order right away and our food was brought out in about 10 minutes. I ordered the smothered chicken and it was juicy and hot. Simply delicious! Would definitely recommend. I plan to come back in the summer so I can enjoy a meal on their outdoor patio.

We recently bought a home in the area and have heard good things about Juicy Bone. All 4 of us enjoyed the food, atmosphere and people. The staff and other guests were all welcoming and friendly. What a cool place! I can't wait for the water to come back and really see all this restaurant/bar has to offer!

Chose this place for birthday dinner because of previous birthday party here. The only thing we found wrong the first time was a Bloody Mary drink. It must have been a canned drink. Terrible but didn’t make a complaint. This time was cold food. There were eight of us and I had a wet burrito that I was digging through to find something warm and started to hear some of the others complaining about cold food. One other wet burrito was the same. Sirloin tips cold and tough, Nachos where cheese didn’t even melt. Pulled pork sandwich special for a Wednesday was barely warm and fries were cold. One of our friends remarked about seeing food set on serving counter which set for quite some time before served. Waitress said she waited for all dishes to be prepared before serving and there was only one cook. The only thing that was hot was walleye as that was prepared last. Cook told waitress all food was prepared hot but adding cold ingredients cooled it fast. All lame excuses. Waitress deleted two pitchers of beer and one birthday drink from bills and we still paid for bad food and poor service. Don’t expect me back! Too bad as the place has potential. Probably struggling with the economy and lack of competent employees as is the case with most businesses. Meals could have been served separately and situation explained so there would not have to be confrontation.

Can't believe I didn't know of this place. The food was great! Our waitress was awesome! I think her name was Sarah? Anyway, she should win awards for her spectacular service in a waitstaff category! We're definitely going back!Food: 5/5

2 of us loved our meals, 2 didn't. The ribs are... interesting. They were a little cold and the sauce was unique. The fish was very good as were the nachos.

They went above and beyond for my grandfather's birthday. The Ribs were AMAZING, huge portions, delicious, great sides. 5 star service is there a 6th star? absolutely recommendFood: 5/5
