Story

The Judith Herb College of Education at the University of Toledo was founded in 1916 as the Teachers College and was later named the College of Education. The college was renamed for Judith Herb when Marvin and Judith Herb (alumni) pledged $15 million in May 2006. Their pledge is the largest endowment gift in The University of Toledo's history.

Mission

The Mission of the Judith Herb College of Education is to prepare outstanding professionals who are leaders in their fields and to improve the human condition via teaching, research, service, practice and progressive 21st century partnerships.
